  looting is happening everywhere like never before.

  brazen thieves walk into stores and bring a bag with them and simply throw whatever they choose in the bag.

  popular chain stores have closed in certain neighborhoods because it’s just not worth it.

  Canadian Residential School Deaths

  in case you haven't heard, they just discovered the remains of some 215 dead children at a so called canadian residential school.

  they couldn't call it a death-camp could they ... it would be too obvious.. these were where indigenous children were taken, forcibly, in order to "educate" them out of their native customs and languages and make them integrate with society.. unbelievably, this was still going on in the 60s to 90s.. of course the catholic church has their sticky fingers all over it.

  what is it about those creepy bastards?

  Wow, they just found 751 unmarked graves at another school.

  No excuse for Trudeau continuing to ignore this, cover it up and drag his feet funding an investigation ... besides the fact that he's a grade A racist fuck.

  Daddy Trudeau was PM when these schools were operating.

  I think statutes need to come down and landmarks be renamed.

  it’s such a big holiday that the local electric company will be closed in order to celebrate.

  only emergencies will be dealt with on that day.. what are you doing for the holiday?.

  Seems like a worthy thing to commemorate, certainly more legit than some other celebrations that we have.

  Although it does sound like a made up joke name, like something Southpark would invent. Maybe consider a re-brand. Call it Freedom day.

  But the main thing is that every year they should commemorate what the Republican president did to free black people and how it was opposed by the Democrats wearing hoods and robes.

  What Is Truth?

  just because you believe something as truth, it doesn’t make it truth.

  religious leaders may be admired and believed but they could be dead wrong.

  politicians can spout out “facts” that support their truth yet once further evidence comes through these facts are questionable.

  so i was watching an evans video he just put out where he was interviewing a man about how the cult treated his daughter who was rapped as a criminal.

  the man said his wife's first experience with an apostate site was here.

  i could tell by the look on his face he did not like that site and then could not help himself and said that he could not recommend going to this site.

  Oh, I think I remembered the quote, it was something like:

  "Never expect any person or group to solve a problem when their revenue relies on the existence of that problem"

  I may have paraphrased it slightly wrong, but there is so much truth to this.

  The aim of most 'activists' should be to make themselves redundant. Call me when you find some activist who even appears to be trying to do this.

  Jeez, the word "activist" just conjures up a picture in my mind of some self-proclaimed, self-important wannabe saviour type who's either using their "activism" as an excuse to be an asshole or to make a quick-buck ... possibly both.

  When he says something, people can comment and say opposite things and he doesn't have the ability to edit it out.

  That doesn't mean he hasn't tried! I've had "I'll ruin your reputation if you don't remove XYZ comment about my video" emails from him before now.

  It's why I generally don't allow his windbag videos on the site. I have better things todo with my time than spend it dealing with some narcissistic grifter.

  He seems to rely on money generated from his videos. If so, he is manipulating the ex-JW community for his own profit.

  The problem with "professional activists" who rely on their activism for their income is that there is a tendency for it to become a motivation to perpetuate the thing itself and to invent things to use to continue the money-making activism, even if there is nothing really that warrants any 'activisming' (yeah, that's a word - totally checks out).

  I saw a quote along these lines the other day, about how groups formed to object to a 'thing' end up becoming dependent on and part of the ecosystem of the 'thing', but can't remember the exact context. Wish I'd saved a reference as I thought at the time it was quite profound and likely useful.

  He's a dick. He can't take criticism and demands "worship". Anyone who questions him is deemed an enemy. I think part of it is that he makes money from his activity, but he was key to a major screw up which exposed many people's identities and refused to close that particular barn door or admit it was poorly conceived.

  Liberal vs. Conservative mental health study - what do you make of it?

  a pew study from 2020 (but one i just now came upon myself) reported that the more liberal you are, the more likely you are to have a mental health condition.

  the worst suffering group are white females, ages 18-29 where over 56% have admitted to be described by their own doctors as having a mental health condition.

  conservative females of the same age group suffer at less than half that number (27%).. while women tend to have more mental health problems than men (don't be mad at me for saying it, this is what the study reports) it is notable that liberal men have a higher percentage of mental health conditions than conservative women in the same age group.
