Yeah, I think the focus should be on Minimus and his family right now.
Nice to hear he's going to give a dedicated segment about him.

Six Screen? Sensationalizing? Surely not? LOL
Shirley sounds like a nut, and admits to being a repeat troll? Yeah, I'll delete your ass anytime I find you, ya dumb-ass. Sounds like you're still obsessed with me and my site Shirley. Living rent-free in your head :)
If you break the posting rules, you get the boot. I don't care how long you have posted. The rules apply to all.
But what an utterly classless cow to take an opportunity of someone's death to try to score points because you're bitter because you couldn't follow some simple rules.
this is happening in western australian indigenous communities .... quote: "some american-based preachers are distributing emails and videos warning that covid-19 vaccines are evil and the work of satan, and the notion has infected some christian communities in the west australian outback.. veteran aboriginal health worker kathy watson said people spreading false information about the covid-19 vaccination and its links to the devil were "mad".".

I think religion is a lighting rod for nuts.
with the passing minimus, we all may think about what this site has meant to us personally.
i lurked here for quite a few years before becoming active as a poster....still i consider what i have done to be very slight compared with others.
may minimus rest in peace and a big thank you to all that have helped me here over the years.. a new member that is a pimo elder (reservations) posted here about how he could wake people up while remaining a pimo elder.
I agree. If you don't want to be part of it anymore, leave. Immediately.
It has a far bigger impact ultimately than trying to stay IMO. Ultimately, you could have 99% of people not believing and going through the motions which would effectively be keeping the other 1% trapped.
Just walk out and don't go back. Taking part in it is helping to perpetuate the system and keep it running, however much you may intend to try to stop it, you're still part of it.
i was given the link to a bit of information regarding on old poster/moderator of this forum.
i was not sure of the validity of the information so have been trying to find out if it is true.. earlier today craig's estranged wife, kate, (bikerchic) confirmed that craig died at his home on aug 10, 2011.. i am sure that many people here remember craig's time here and how he went out of his way to offer support to posters, even calling them, to give whatever help he could as they adjusted to their post-jw lives.. i know many people here will grieve his loss.. --------------.
ps i tried posting this earlier but the computer i was working with would not allow the posts.
Oops, thought that was just a duplicate post so I deleted it.

So sad to hear this.
The thing that sucks about running a community site that is well over 2 decades old is that we're all that much older too, and some of us reach the end of our journey.
There have been many over the years, people that share a slice of their life with us, that you may not know personally but kind of put a virtual face and voice to.
It's often quite poignant to look back on old topics and posts and remember that there was a real-life character behind them, whether you agreed with their opinions or not. Minimus contributed a lot of them to this site which is why his passing will have such an impact.
The saddest thing is that we never get to say "thanks" for all they shared or goodbye.
RIP Min
a thread in honour of our departed friend minimus.
.
I see what you did there. A fitting tribute :)
i have a question for those more versed in biblical history than i. .
knowing that a belief in a resurrection on messianic times was a later jewish belief ... but still ... did the ot jews believe that someone served a capital punishment / death sentence would be elegible for future resurrection?.
meaning: when coding the torah, did its writers intended that the capital punishment also be understood as an obliteration for all eternity?.
According to the WTS, the whole judgement thing happens well after Armageddon. People will be resurrected, whether they were good or evil, as long as they haven't already received "a witness".
So the JWs believe that Hitler, Stalin, Mao and all the other mass-murderers from history are due a do-over.
Bat. Shit. Crazy.
now ac is racist.
lmfao.

Told you - fake news!
The FBI have already debunked the "Trump called an army to take over the US" claptrap.
My money was on "he said to drink bleach!" or "he called the KKK fine people!", maybe even "Russian collusion!"
But I knew whatever you came up with would be some bullshit you've been fed by the media and fell for, because you lack the intelligence to see when you have been fooled and lied to not once, not twice, but over and over and over again.
now ac is racist.

Yeah, I think there are two groups - the cynical manipulators and the blind, dumb followers. The latter are the "true believers", the leaders tell people to do one thing but their behavior says they obviously don't believe it themselves.
Whether that is not wearing masks and social distancing at private gatherings while mandating it for others, or buying multi-million $ luxury beachfront-properties that they claim will be underwater in 10 years time.
It's a clever trick to get the followers to go into battle on their behalf, similar to how the JWs will defend the WTS to the death.
