Cappytan has made some effort to try and work out whether the claims by this Marko and some of it that was published by Kim and Mike had any basis in truth or not.
Here’s why my gut says they’re fake. There is no known user interface, prior to 2016’s Microsoft Outlook redesign, that uses a person’s initials in a circle with a thin weight font to thread either chat or email messages. Prove me wrong. The implication here is that these screenshots were supposedly taken in 2008. I find that so far to be impossible.
I can easily find references to jQuery plugins for creating user-initials as avatars in a circle from earlier, at least 2014. Even Google were using them in 2015. So they were mainstream by then and straight away "There is no known user interface, prior to 2016’s Microsoft Outlook redesign" is invalidated.
If there were developer libraries for anyone to add them, then by that point it can be deemed to be a commonly used thing. So usage and actual invention could easily be from much earlier.
The challenge is finding the specific example, and despite what some people think, the internet isn't a great place at keeping history. Even things I know and remember, major products, are sometimes difficult to locate information about. People lose data over time, servers go offline, the past is often forgotten pretty quickly online.
So I doubt you can prove them fake and this claim doesn't do it as it relies on "lack of evidence" as evidence, which is weak, I think the only way they could have proven things fake would be if they'd used a screen resolution, font or anti-aliasing that wasn't definitively invented until some time later. But they don't AFAICT and would someone going to the trouble to re-create those old things in such detail then randomly decide to throw in some "modern avatars"? Or is the reality that we don't really know about the avatars?
Lack of evidence of something only proves a lack of evidence has been found, nothing more - that lack of evidence doesn't become evidence of anything in itself one way or the other. Technical analysis might have proven them to be faked, but if it doesn't it simply means it failed to disprove them as being credible.

I doubt every ex Jw activist is flawless
True, but he's the only one I'm aware of that has admitted to raising money off sex abuse victims and then regularly visiting prostitutes over many years and who has had other far more serious allegations made about him.
The vast majority of us live far more mundane, normal, moral lives both in absolute terms and by comparison.
No one is claiming they are flawless, but let's not pretend we're all anywhere remotely close to being the same.

Peak Cancel Culture
by Simon inwe seemed to have reached peak cancel-culture.
now, we get to try to cancel the citizens of an entire country for something their government chose to do.. really, we can't allow russian individuals to compete in sports?
to live a life?.

Don't forget, they can do this to anyone. If they can do it to one political side in Canada, and all the people in Russia, they can do it to you.
Also, do they think this hurts Putin? It reinforces the view that the world is against Russia and bolsters his support if anything. Anyone remember history at all, and the world being against Germany after WWI? That worked out well ... people never become more determined, more fanatical, and fight back harder, right?
People need to wise the fuck up and stop being led by the politicians and the media who walk us into pointless conflicts for ratings and distraction purposes. The Russian people are not our enemy, and we should stop treating them like they are.

But I do favor banning them from sports.
Why? And what's the logic?
Who gets to compete and why? What is the boundary and severity of crime exactly? Are we doing regions, countries or continents? Why? Who not a city?
Who get's to decide?
Why do we punish random people for what others are doing?
It's just virtue-signally bullshittery, a way to do something without really doing anything.
"We must do something ... here, let's punch someone unrelated in the face"
Thank god we solved things.

Yeah, he's trying to gaslight people and his ultra-controlling personality shines through as always (but always with the "excuse" for what he's doing as you say).
I never knew how early he'd been pumping people for money. I think that has always been his motivation, not helping people (otherwise he wouldn't have hurt so many along the way). It will be interesting to see how long he continues if the funding tap dries up.

I get not allowing the Russian country to host events, but even then, did something about Putin suddenly change overnight? Everyone has been fine having sporting events there for years despite all the previous things he did. If you really had any principles you would object to those things. It will be exactly the same when China does something like invade Taiwan. Everyone who didn't give a shit about what went on there for decades will overnight start demanding everyone put banners on websites and flags on social media avatars, as though they have "done" something.
You virtue signalled. And you voted for the people who made this happen.
The time to protest and show your support has been for decades prior, but that is too much work isn't it?

sing the following song to the tune of old Song 113 in the brown JW songbook
Oh man, I heard that in my head ... I even did the sustained notes for "hypocriseeeeeee", LOL
My Q: When you say you "can't control yourself" and try to imply that the billions of men who can are somehow abnormal, do you mean literally, similar to what rapists and child molesters claim? Or do you really mean that you simply choose not to control yourself? i.e. like a fatty bum-bum who chooses to eat cake instead of healthy food.
My follow up Q: How much cake do you consume to get in shape?

now you don't want him to have your interview in is playlist anymore, and ASKING HIM TO TAKE IT DOWN IS NOT AN OPTION, could you Report it to youtube ... Is that possible?
I don't think the person interviewed has any legal rights to the video unless they agreed something before-hand, that it would only be used for a limited time or that they had control to be able to pull it.
This needs to be a lesson for people - don't go giving away your life story to someone else to make money off, with no control to remove it if that person turns out to be living a lifestyle that you don't want to be associated with.
There's often not much that can be done in hindsight, other than try to have public opinion force him to remove it (but we know he doesn't really worry about his public image).
His followers seem to fall into two categories. Those whose life-decisions are similar: fornicators, adulterers, misappropriation; or what have you. Those who think that anyone who rants about Witness culture is on their side and that any moral fault should be overlooked as long as he says what they want to hear.
I've seen this a lot in exJWism over the years. There are a lot of people who are kicked out of the WTS for damn good reason, and then like a jilted lover they try to tear the WTS down as though doing so would validate their own poor behavior. Of course it doesn't, but they end up being cheerleaders of every radical "activist" who is willing to shout or throw mud in the WTS direction.
The best lesson / reminder in all of this: just because someone else also left the WTS doesn't mean they are a nice person or that you need to have them be your friend. You just had some vaguely common shared past, that's all.
Imagine you left a company because you didn't like how they treated you, would you want to pal around with some nut who was fired for stealing from the same place, that wanted to vandalize their premises? You really don't have anything in common at all, don't let them fool you into believing you do and that you have some duty to support them or that doing so will provide you any kind of "revenge" at all.

That's a great read, good job!
BTW: Grandad Thomas Aylott reminds me of John Le Mesurier, out of "Dad's Army", one of the greatest UK TV series ever.
