Remember: it's easier to fool someone than to convince someone they have been fooled.
Many people will prefer to double-down on supporting him rather than admit that they have been duped by a manipulator or made a poor judgement of character.
Even when the truth is there to see, when it's come out of his own mouth, they still refuse to acknowledge it and act accordingly.
Instead, they try to rationalize and excuse it by making out that criticism of him is the worst thing imaginable, in this case being publicly raped.
Sick, sick, sick.
But worse is that HE doesn't point out how inappropriate that comment is. Instead, he laps it up, because it's adulation and paints him as some kind of martyr.

Monica was the one who made a quick video on Twitter shortly after these revelations came out and Patrons were dropping like flies saying she was upping her existing patronage to $25 a month.
These people really are sick.
You see this cult behavior all the time. When the followers are let down it doesn't wake them up and give them pause to re-evaluate their beliefs. No instead a true believer double-downs and becomes an even more ardent supporter.
They are the kind who shout support outside a court while their idol is inside being prosecuted for rape or child abuse. The same kind of people who throw money at their disgraced messiah, caught diddling other girls behind his wife's back but pretending that he's the one who's being persecuted.
I'm guessing it triggers something in their brain, like they get a hit of dopamine, serotonin, endorphins or something from following out their conditioning to manifest their support.
Exactly the same as the WTS does with its followers, and Lloyd id now just continuing what they trained him to do.
It really is quite breathtaking, and the people are completely fooled ... which is why they'll become so disappointed with themselves once something shakes the rose tinted glasses off their face. Maybe a post of theirs will anger him and they'll find themselves out of favor and blocked, or simply chastised for not being as supportive as he demands or for also supporting someone else that he doesn't approve of.

He does like to play word games and semantics.
The whole "hired" vs "dated" a prostitute is a distraction from the key part - he was cheating on his wife with multiple prostitutes!
He also tried to do this when Andrew Gold talked about leaders having a responsibility (I think it was, going off memory). Instead of addressing the issue the point was actually about, he announces "but I'm not a leader!" and his face beams like he's just won the court-case of the century.
Of course we all know he has set himself up as an authority, a leading voice, a "leader" if you will and we know he definitely has his own "culty" followers (people who lack either brains, morals, or both). So it was an accurate term to us.
He probably imagines that he's convincing and has set matters to rest once and for all. I'd believe he was just a deluded fool if I didn't know he's such a manipulative liar.

Yes, this “mentioning but not mentioning” of producer bob has caught my notice on a number of occasions and had I not had the knowledge of lloyd evans outing PIMO’s etc in the past I wouldn’t have noted it so much.
I've noticed that too, it stands out how he says it and he's said the same thing at least a couple of times.
It came across as a veiled threat for someone to "stay silent, or else ..."
I'm guessing one of the reasons is because the optics of him telling multiple female colleagues about his sexual escapades is more than weird.

I think he's probably come up with that after people rightly pointed out that prostitution is illegal in Thailand. Just because it's not prosecuted due to corruption, doesn't make it OK
Just part of why so many Thai prostitutes are minors or were originally minors when they started or were trafficked.
But it's OK, Lloyd just engaged his hooker-background-checking department to verify all the ones he "dated".

I don't think that's enough - that elders kids are "protected" is a well known thing and also something they could easily deny or put a spin on and ends up showing them in the positive light ("so you're saying now that you faked being repentant? See, Jehovah exposes everything in the end ...")
For it to be leverage, it needs to be something that they wouldn't want exposed, but also something he is not going to want exposed either.

The Branch dude was probably there for translation purposes OR because elders in the local area had conflict of interest due to close ties with Dijana and her family? That could be a reason they needed an "out-of-towner" maybe?
The translation thing doesn't make sense to me.
A little googling shows that something like 70% of Croatians speak English overall, rising to 90% in more populated / less rural areas (non speakers tending to be older / more isolated). So the notion that they couldn't simply get an elder from the local congregation or a close-by congregation in the same circuit doesn't really fly IMO.
I also don't believe they ever really care a great deal about conflicts of interest, but I guess it's possible.
I think IF a branch person was there it is more likely todo with the claim that Lloyd had something over them that he believed he could use to "make a deal".

At this point I'm struggling to imagine what it could possibly be that's worse than what he's already admitted to. He's been entirely open about punting on a very regular basis over many years. He can say "consenting adults" all he likes, but Andrew and a few others asked him directly about trafficking and other forms of coercion and he's not answered it. That's serial rape, and he doesn't care or think it's a big deal.
I did a back-of-the napkin calculation in another thread and you quickly reach "almost certain" probability that visiting sex workers means you're a CSA survivor rapist.
We should look at doing something more scientific using bayesian inference which would be perfect for exactly this type of thing (percentages of percentages of populations)

I am not convinced that the Bethel Branch Manager was at his Judicial meeting.
He says they were but when recanting specifics of his Judicial meeting and why he would not be recording the meeting,
This to me is a story in waiting. We may never find out but we can tell he's not telling the truth because what he says makes no sense - for someone who records and broadcasts everything he makes the bizarre statement that "I have nothing to hide ... so I won't be recording it".
To say "I have nothing to hide, so I'm recording it" makes sense but we know he didn't
Saying "I do have something to hide, so I'm not recording it" would make sense and matches what happened
We may never know. The WTS doesn't broadcast reasons, it simply makes an announcement in the local KH with no reason. So I don't think we can expect any information from them.
The fact that no further details (to my knowledge) have ever come from Lloyd tells us all we need to know - he's hiding something, and it's nothing that would be beneficial to him to expose.
The obvious conclusions (still speculation) is that it's perhaps a coverup of some scandal that involves him. If it was about other people I don't think he'd show any restraint from using the information, so my belief is that it's some scandal or coverup involving himself.
Throw in some of the other statements I believe he's made such as the reason for including some things in his book (to prevent someone trying to blackmail him?) and you can begin to paint a picture of possibilities.
Something covered up, something sexual, something involving sexting "girls", maybe only hinting at things enough in his book to take the wind out of subsequent accusations, something he wouldn't want exposed. Who knows what it could be though ...
But we're dealing with someone who's publicly admitted cannot control themselves sexually.
