  Let's be honest, no one is disfellowshipped for anything besides not offering enough of a grovelling apology to the elders. Especially if you're Elder-spawn, you can do anything and it will all be forgiven.

  Did Tibor accompany JLE to his filming destinations? Did Tibor know that JLE was being unfaithful to his wife? Any person of good morals (whether Tibor or anyone else) who comes into knowledge of such conduct would suffer pangs of conscience over what to do with this knowledge.

  It's academic. He knows about it all now and still choses to work for and actively defend him, so we can make a judgement on Tibor's morals and ethics (or lack thereof).

  His sister divorced her husband and to avoid being disfellowshipped she used the "mental issues" card from the Shepherding book. Im sure her daddy coaxed her into it.

  Interesting that it seems to be a learned "convenient" excuse or explanation for things. It's one of those untouchable claims that are used precisely because no one likes to be seen challenging it.

  Of course it's not really an excuse is it, AFAIK there is no asterisk in the Shepherding book saying "all null and void if the person is going through a tough time". And as I said, it's typical "soft handling" of controlling-elder relatives, vs how they treat other people.

  People using it to defer scrutiny and criticism are of course shameless shits piggy backing on the back of people who actually suffer genuine mental illness.

  All Lloyd is suffering from is "being caught".

  From what I can gather it seems Lloyds family were willing to continue their relationship if he didn't disassociate (for his father in particular), and for his sister if he discontinued his very public activism.

  If so, that's an example of the crony system they have - other people are deemed to have disassociated by their actions, without sending in any letter (as people imagine they have when they announce it)

  But if daddy is an elder, you are treated very differently.

  Lloyd isn't fighting against the system, he's part of the system, making full use of the double standards and varying rules based on who you know or are related to.

  I think every hall had those vile spawn of vile elders who just oozed corruption.

  Lloyd thought he was untouchable, like Thanos

  In reality, he was a fraud, like Theranos

  On the other hand Lloyd is still making a feisty display of carrying on regardless. It looks like a pretty hopeless endeavour, but with his track record of fooling people he obviously still believes he has a chance of weathering this storm.

  There's a constant supply of "fresh meat" for him - people leaving who don't know his history, who'll come across his videos with comments full of nothing but adulation (because he deletes anything that questions him).

  What we need to do is promote other voices, and that people shouldn't wallow in being an exJW and obsessing about the WTS for the rest of their lives, but instead recover and move on.

  I have some thoughts / plans to help with this.

  Dear friends can I ask you when respond to this post to keep on referring to Lloyd Evans aka ...

  At a certain point, it becomes counter-productive. It could be seen to be spamming, so they wouldn't rank as highly, and also derails the discussion so people who may otherwise want to read things stop doing so.

  Like in A Few Good Men where the guys says "you say it once ... you keep saying it and ..." (you know the thing).

  So lets stop with it now, thanks.

  Remember: it's easier to fool someone than to convince someone they have been fooled.

  Many people will prefer to double-down on supporting him rather than admit that they have been duped by a manipulator or made a poor judgement of character.

  Even when the truth is there to see, when it's come out of his own mouth, they still refuse to acknowledge it and act accordingly.

  Instead, they try to rationalize and excuse it by making out that criticism of him is the worst thing imaginable, in this case being publicly raped.

  Sick, sick, sick.

  But worse is that HE doesn't point out how inappropriate that comment is. Instead, he laps it up, because it's adulation and paints him as some kind of martyr.

  Monica was the one who made a quick video on Twitter shortly after these revelations came out and Patrons were dropping like flies saying she was upping her existing patronage to $25 a month.

  These people really are sick.

  You see this cult behavior all the time. When the followers are let down it doesn't wake them up and give them pause to re-evaluate their beliefs. No instead a true believer double-downs and becomes an even more ardent supporter.

  They are the kind who shout support outside a court while their idol is inside being prosecuted for rape or child abuse. The same kind of people who throw money at their disgraced messiah, caught diddling other girls behind his wife's back but pretending that he's the one who's being persecuted.

  I'm guessing it triggers something in their brain, like they get a hit of dopamine, serotonin, endorphins or something from following out their conditioning to manifest their support.

  Exactly the same as the WTS does with its followers, and Lloyd id now just continuing what they trained him to do.

  It really is quite breathtaking, and the people are completely fooled ... which is why they'll become so disappointed with themselves once something shakes the rose tinted glasses off their face. Maybe a post of theirs will anger him and they'll find themselves out of favor and blocked, or simply chastised for not being as supportive as he demands or for also supporting someone else that he doesn't approve of.
