The title of his book is a lie. "The reluctant Apostate" He loves his activism, since this is his only source of income. In fact if something ever did happened to his chief adversary he would be screwed. He would have to go out and get a real job.

Nah, I think it's accurate. He's not an apostate because he disagreed with the WTS and left on principle. He's an exJW because they got sick of him and kicked him out. I'm guessing to protect their members from his uncontrollable penis, exactly the kind of thing they should do.

If you're ever going to listen to anyone, you should know to listen to people who have been supportive in the past.

Yes, there will be people who are always critical of you no matter what you do or say and it's reasonable to say you don't need to listen to them and can ignore their views.

But someone who has supported you? They are not your enemy, they are telling you something, that you've taken a wrong turn or gone off the rails.

That's the time to stop, listen and be humble.

But of course he doesn't do "listen" or "humble". He simply switches that person into the "anti-me" column and declares them the enemy.

He was able to build support because there was a ready, waiting, eager audience. He's reached the point where he alienates people faster than he can gain new viewers. The low-hanging fruit are all gone and he's built walls so high he can't see new trees anymore.

i found a company and employed an elder as an underwriter and two ms as sales and marketing.

anyway, this elder will delegate his work to the ms in sales and marketing, so he can go home early.

he knew when he got started that this would be a 10 hour a day job with some saturday.

There are two groups of people at most companies. Those who work really really really hard, and make themselves irreplaceable and indispensable ... and those that get promoted.

Hard work is for idiots and losers. Always work smarter, not harder.

Many managers will prefer to keep the hard worker doing what they are doing. Why wouldn't they? Enjoy your years of hard work ...

It'll be like his original "these are totally from current JWs, honest" survey ... probably some other john he ran into and gave a script to.

As a basic rule, no current JW in good standing would dream of doing some interview with an apostate online.

So it will either involve trickery or lies, possibly both.

Or, as nicolaou points out - it will be nothing whatsoever to-do with JWs and he's trying to re-invent himself as just another atheist commentator where they don't know he's a dick.

I give it 3 weeks before his new audience is laughing at his backstory.

The Gold interview was an attempt to outright deny he had seen sex workers in Thailand. Instead he "dated" them. This is direct contradiction to his livestream comments and his lengthy FB statement about him seeing sex workers there.

Yes, we now have Thailand, Croatia and other Countries (plural, so at least 2) that he's seen sex workers by his own admission on tape.

Now I wonder how many trips abroad he's taken alone vs with his family in the last few years? Because it now sounds like he might have been doing it while they were with him which is even more yucky, for them.

"No, daddy can't take you to the beach today, he has to go see a lady ..."

Try to reconcile that with his BS claims about being a dedicated family man that has to miss out on time with his family ... that he makes to raise money.

He can't control himself (his admission), so if you give him money you just enable him to spend time away from his family (although they'll probably see that as a blessing at some point if they don't already).

So he tries to claim that TTATT didn't want him involved any more only because of what other people have said about his confession video, not the confession video itself. Despite them being very clear in their statement that the decision was based entirely on what Lloyd himself said.

He still doesn't seem to grasp the impact of someone claiming to be an advocate for survivors of CSA engaging with prostitution in high sex-trafficking countries and how utterly incompatible that is. Let alone that no one wants the front-man of their programme to be a sleaze-ball who regularly abandons his wife and kids to go visit prostitutes (and now, we wonder, whether he did it while taking them on trips with him ... ew).

No wonder he deleted the comment. I think we know he hasn't hired any PR help yet because he's still managing to make things worse every time he posts something.

Note too the narcissist trying to blame everyone else: the TTATT for "bowing to pressure" and the guy asking the question of whether Lloyd owes them an apology for the now wasted and the added extra work they now have to do to try to salvage things.

He can't bring himself to acknowledge that he is the one who fucked up, it's all on him, and he DOES owe people some apologies.

It's not that your business model is just wrong, you're a garbage employer. If 10 hour days are "the norm" then you can't plan for shit.

Hire more people to work realistic hours.

Are you a JW? If so, you're using your connection to the religion to hire people on the cheap and take advantage of the fact that some people think it's noble or whatever to "support their brothers".

The statistical chance that an elder and 2 MS's happened to be the best people to hire are low to zero.
