when did Evans write that on twitter? ...like several years ago?

this is the story of michael.
a 4th generation jw.
elder, husband, father with relational ties to marley cole.. pimo, stepped down as elder, and the body went after him tooth and nail.
Did he lose them? Did his wife divorce him?
I couldn't tell from what I read / listened to whether things actually happened or not.

LOL, that's too funny
I never knew that definition, but it makes his tweet hilarious!
I even had to check it wasn't made up, but it's real:
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/chippie
Example of Chippie in a sentence:
"Lloyd Evens was regularly visiting chippies to cheat on his wife every couple of months for many years and paying for them using funds donated for a different purpose and solicited on false pretences."

What a sad story.
I strongly believe this "PIMO" nonsense is dangerous.
Leave. Run. Get as far away from it as you can. Get it out of your life. If they show up on your door, tell them to get off your property. If they show up again, punch them in the face.

Obviously it is a gamble as defamation lawsuits are so complex and unpredictable. Often they open a Pandora's Box.
I think the thing we keep forgetting is the other purpose behind threatening lawsuits. It's not always about what has already been said, whether a lawsuit can be won or even brought in the first place. It's about trying to put off future criticism by suggesting it will result in a lot of aggravation and hassle for anyone who does.
Of course when nothing happens, it accomplishes the opposite. It effectively marks the start of "open season" on him.
He even documented the statute of limitations for us. What a guy! What a dumb fucking guy, LOL

Is it possible that he's gone back to England for the month to look at relocating there? It's hard to imagine that he would move so far from his children but with Lloyd Evans, it's all about Lloyd Evans.
I doubt he'd be going to London for that, it would be prohibitively expensive. If he was visiting less expensive areas of the country to live, maybe.
But yes, if he had to make his own way in the world I doubt he'd have many employment opportunities in Croatia, certainly not jobs he'd want to do for the money compared to UK rates.
Getting a real job is going to be the last resort though, he'll be keen to try to resurrect his gravy-train setup and keep that going.

Wouldn't legal proceedings expose everything he's been up to. Like what he does with his Patrion donations and things like this. Would he want that type of exposure for the whole (exJW) world to see?
Yes, he'd have to try to show he suffered financially which means he'd have to reveal where his money came from and what he spent it on.
All on public record, forever and ever.

As long as he did so in good faith, it's not unreasonable for Marc to report it.
No court is going to set the legal precedent that reporting a potential serious crime in good faith ends up costing the person who does so. It would be chilling and extreme and attract all manner of criticism from the wider community.
If anyone, ever, comes across anything that may be evidence of child abuse their duty is to report it to the authorities.
And the irony, if Lloyd takes someone to court for doing just that when supposedly being an advocate that it be what members of the WTS should be obliged do.
I believe in any court case he could be forced to reveal details of his JC and what he covered up / claimed to have over the WTS and there is reasonably suspicion that it may be relevant and related.

I think Lloyds income is irrelevant. He doesn't seem like the type of person who denies himself anything and saves prudently. He seems more like the type who lives for the here and now and spends what comes in. As you often see with lottery winners, getting more money doesn't improve people, it just exposes who they are and allows them to live the life they want - typically they buy more of what they did already, and spend more on doing what they did before.
Holidays, lego-toys, framed photos of the Governing Bod, organization logos ...
People's who's spending expands as their income rises often then struggle to cut-back and live frugally if it subsequently disappears (the trick is to save all the extra money, not fritter it away).

He doesn't have money for lawyers and hookers, unless they are both extremely cheap ones ... or maybe he's looking for hookers that also provides legal services?
Maybe, that will be his latest explanation ... "I was visiting her apartment at 3:00am in the morning to get opinions on a legal matter, and so any payment I made was for that, not for the sex, which was because we started dating that night".
