It's funny how changing race is seen as silly and laughable.
The reality is that I'm way closer to being a black man or an asian man then I ever would be to being a woman. If I claimed I was black or asian I'd be condemned and cancelled, but if I said I thought I was a woman it would not only be affirmed, but I would be encouraged to take medications and have surgery to make it "real" and it would be illegal for anyone to even ask "are you sure you're not just a little crazy?"

With currency debasement / inflation, the government is literally taking the value of your money from your account.
They then tax you on the notional gains you made as the denominated price of your house and assets increase.
Remember - it's important to separate money from the value of money. The value is what goods and services it can buy. If $100 could buy all the goods in the world, and they print another $100, then the value halved. If you had $1 in your bank you still have $1 but the value is now $0.50 of what it was based on what you can buy with it.

Your money? It's their money - you're just a creditor. There's no guarantee you will get your money back, you may get an "equivalent" of shared issued by the bank-that-went-bust (imagine how valuable those would be!)
One of the reasons double-entry accounting is so confusing is we're so used to seeing accounting entries from the banks perspective.

Ultimately, people are responsible for their own lives.
If they want to believe some scammer and send all their money to a Nigerian prince because they didn't bother to research, that's on them. Same with Lloyd, if someone decides to become a "follower" without doing their due diligence then more fool them.
The information is available for those who take the time to look. It's not our job to save anyone from him, any more than it's our job to save anyone from the WTS. We share what we know and the experiences we've had, and people can make their own decisions.
