  Remember 9 months ago when all he really had to do was say "Sorry, I fucked up big time, I'm going to take some time away to reflect and then try to do better" ...

  ... but of course he's too proud and arrogant to believe he has to apologize to anyone for anything.

  So here we are, watching the train-wreck still careering down the tracks and him re-igniting the flames every chance he gets.

  We should start planning something for the upcoming meltdown anniversary. Maybe an international video meetup to share a drink and some laughter. Everyone has to wear a fake neck beard, even the ladies ... ;)

  I have some screenshots for you all to enjoy. One of the comments that led up to Tom going ballistic on Lloyd. Let me see what else I have.

  It's amazing how, when someone questions him on this matter, he talks about anything and everything but fails to give a clear definitive answer. Same with his livestream, when someone mentioned the possible age of a girl his reaction isn't to give any clear denial but instead to complain about how the community isn't supporting him enough.

  Weird and Clintonesque in his denials.

  Welcome Joel! Yeah, there's so much you forget about a lot and trying to organize all the stupid into a clear narrative is a challenge.
  

  It's my opinion that he took what he learned from WT and turned around to weaponize it for his own glory and pocketbook.

  This is the most succinct summary of who and what he is and what his purpose has been from the start. He's a user - he used people when he was a JW, and he just switched to using exJWs when they booted his ass out.

  I was thinking that they could hire Croatian lawyers to try to counteract what LE's lawyers are possibly doing unchallenged by any defense representation.

  Why bother? This is what he wants people doing, running around, being his puppet on his string. Unless and until anything actually happens just ignore it. IMO it's simply a publicity stunt to convince his gullible followers that he's been wronged.

  If some action does ever occur, then go nuclear and spend money fighting it. But the idea that Croatia has any legal jurisdiction on anyone else is laughable.

  I propose that one of the magnificent seven create the fundraiser or if they do not want to I propose Simon if he doesn't mind that is.

  I don't mind helping however I can, but I have zero experience with fundraising platforms.

  It may be that given the country involved, given the rural area & given the current financial climate, I wouldn't be surprised if Cedars relationship with his lawyers isn't as straightforward as it might be in the west.

  Don't forget that he literally used the lawyers closest to his house as the crow flies. You can see on the map it's the first legal firm on the road to the nearest town. He's doing the cheapest thing possible - he's just paid a minimal amount to send some "scary" letters that people rightly laughed at. Everything else has been him talking and trying to "big himself up", and we know how reliable that is.

  I've seen many say that LE went off to Thailand regularly to see prostitutes or words to that effect

  I haven't seen anyone say that. He admitted to using prostitutes regularly, and to going to Thailand where he "dated" a sex worker. It doesn't mean the regular use of prostitutes were in Thailand. It appears to have been multiple countries from what I can gather.

  Tried to warn another mum

  the thing that broke me was that i tried to warn another mum in the congregation about a brother who was inappropriate with my son, which upset me, and so i called her to talk about it since we both knew him and i had also seen him pin her daughter down on the sofa and slap the girl's bottom.

  i called it inappropriate, but i never accused him of anything beyond that.. unfortunately, word got back to him and i had to go in front of 3 elders, including the brother who i felt had been inappropriate.

  because they came down on me for trying to stop the behavior, and not on him for being the cause of upset, i felt very hurt and started questioning more things.

  We watch Outlander, and love the pronunciation with the heavy Scottish accent, hard to explain, but a mix of hoooer / haere / whoere

  If there's a 'slutty' character on TV it's usually a race for one of us to shout out "she's a hoooooeeeerrr!!!"

  There is no "noble" scenario for prostitution IMO. Either the woman is coerced and forced into it in some way which likely accounts for the majority (and "coerced" can be economically, by society or circumstances). Or she's just lazy / stupid / short-sighted / lacking self-respect and sees it as "easy money".

  It's not something any normal rational person does. It's linked to the worst aspects of humanity.
