  The fact that he never talks about it with people on his channel indicates that he is fully aware that no reasonable person would agree with his version of events. He tried it out with Andrew Gold and failed miserably and now he’s learned his lesson.

  Not only that, but he gave more ammunition to his critics and undermined his own claims. He's just not smart - he can't keep a consistent tale so he ends up contradicting himself. At least he's learned that his explanations usually just make things worse so he's keeping silent. And what can he say? The claims are empty, all he can do is claim "defamation", but he can't have a discussion because he'd have to expand on what exactly is defamatory and he has nothing.

  Didn't go to Thailand for sex, but claims he 'dated' a sex-worker? Yeah, everyone believed that version Lloyd.

  The only thing I really really despise, which I've noticed many exJW YouTubers are guilty of, is when they dismiss people who have opinions different to their own as evidence that people "still have a JW mindset".

  I saw one the other day, typical leftwing woke virtue signalling, claiming that exJWs who weren't all over gender pronouns haven't "really woken up" from the JW experience yet.

  I'm sorry, but no - fuck off cunts! This "you're still a JW if you don't think like me" attitude is so past it's sell-by-date it reeks. If you think you're helping people with that shit, think again - you're simply tickling the ears of a certain crowd to get likes and view, living in a bubble.

  You don't have to turn into some drug taking, trans-loving, communist-flag-waving drop-out to 'prove' that you have "really left the WTS". I think the YouTubers actually represent a minority of exJWs as most people are far more likely to have more conservative outlooks. So the YouTubers present a misleading portrayal just because they are the ones most likely to want to live their life in public, and vocally virtue signal and demonstrate their closet intolerance and judgemental attitudes toward those with different opinions.

  Leave the WTS. Be whoever you want to be. Don't let anyone tell you it's wrong. That's the message.

  ... is absolutely ridiculous.. last year, 2022, russian and belorussian tennis players were banned from wimbledon.

  let that just sink in.

  if you were a pro tennis player, and happened to be a russian or belorussian citizen, the all england club decided that you could not compete at their annual grass tournament.. let's explore that particular brand of discrimination and lunacy further.

  The west's treatment of private citizens from regimes they don't like is hypocritical and childish. The US is guilty of far worse than Russia is, but would have been outraged if their citizens had been refused entry to those same competitions for equivalent reasons.

  What do they think it accomplishes, really? Petty politics to fool their own followers that they have "power" and are "doing something".

  The 1936 Berlin Olympics were heavily politicised by Hitler to promote the belief of white supremacy. That hilariously blew up in his face when African-American sprinter Jesse Owens annihilated the white sprinters (and sprinters of other colours) to win multiple golds.

  Fun fact: Hitler didn't refuse to shake hands with Owens - he didn't congratulate any of the gold medal winners. But the US president refused to invite him to the WhiteHouse with other winners, or even send a congratulatory telegram. But hey, he was a democrat after all, what do you expect?

  Fun fact II: the Nazi party copied a lot of their racist belief system from the US democratic party, but decided to tone it down because they thought it was a bit too strong. Think about that.

  He clearly hates doing JW videos now. I can’t imagine who enjoys watching this stuff either.

  I get why people watch exJW content, especially when they have recently left and are educating themselves about the WatchTower's past for example. That used to be things of some importance, like a major TV channel documentary or expose about the WTS though. But the newer stuff where someone takes a 2 hours convention talk then adds their own commentary to it which is invariable bleeding obvious "this is lies" kind of level ... WTF?! Who is sitting through that crap? What do they imagine they are learning? There's often long periods of time where n-o-t-h-i-n-g happens in JW world, it's just the same-old, yet people like him feel compelled to churn out new content about the nothing that has occurred.

  It'd be like someone rage-quitting McDonalds and then tuning in every month to hear the latest menu items and someone read out the updates to the employee manual.
