  I find these things ridiculous. They are little flourishes, it's not the entire song or the key identifying part of the song (like the base line in "Another One Bites the Dust" for instance).

  The most egregious abuse of music copyright for me is The Verve's Unfinished Symphony:

  He'll keep a certain level of support just through the sheer laziness and ineptitude of people. Unless you carefully monitor your financial accounts, you can easily forget about signing up for something and it keeps being taken until you do or your card is cancelled or expired. It's why companies love the subscription model, because a decent percentage of subscribers giving you money don't even know or remember (esp. common with company accounts and services). Because of that, there is a window of time where he'll have a certain number of subscribers even if he doesn't produce anything - remembering too that if you pay him money, you're obviously not the smartest tool in the box.

  Long term, it'll be a slow bleed as he fails to attract new subscribers because he doesn't produce regular quality content and there are better and free alternatives. His knowledge and claim to have insider info also has a sell-by date.

  If you were a vegan activist, would you bother listening to someone who worked at McDonalds 20 years ago? No, because what can they provide that is in any way relevant?

  i live in a rural estate that was the site of a medieval village with a manor house and defensive tower.

  many of the things i find illustrate the amazing history of the location.

  Interesting that since the "free membership" that he thought was going to cheat the system, he's not had the usual small bounce in numbers at the start or during the month. It's just flatlined, so the end of the month should be a more definitive drop.

  If you own 100% of a company then all the income that company generates is your income. If it's > 6 figures then it's completely fair to say you have a 6 figure income. It's not rocket science.

  Just because you pay your wife a salary for notional work in order to extract money from the company without paying so much income tax or corporation tax, doesn't alter that.

  Just because you claim things are business expenses so you also avoid paying taxes doesn't alter that.

  Q: If someone has a 6 figure income, would them claiming that their income taxes, mortgage, groceries, car payments, and cable bill took up 80% of their income mean they didn't have a 6 figure income? No, it's just word games.

  The only person that put a match to his free money gravy train was him, with his antics, because he couldn't control his dick.

  Even after all this, he likely still get's way too much money for what he does.

  # of users is almost impossible to count - you have to start with the definition of a user: is it someone who joined or someone who posts? how much do they need to post, and when does their latest post need to be to count? Are 10 accounts by the same person 10 accounts or 1 account?

  I'm sure we don't have as many users as Reddit, it's a much larger platform, although a lot of user-counts on large platforms are fake and inflated as part of their business model with bots etc... for spam too. It's also a tribalistic cesspit of corruption that's been taken over by leftist fanatics.

  Interesting news in Canada:

  Apparently, Sophie Trudeau filed for divorce in April but they only announced their separation in August. However she was already with someone else long before then, but was keeping up the appearance that they were still together and regularly attending events and even state visits. Why? For Justin to maintain his "swell dad and family man" image. But it was all a lie.

  He's rightfully now being mocked and people are are questioning why she was travelling and vacationing at the tax-payers expense (there have been $6,000 a night hotel bills on some trips) when she had nothing to do with him.

  Remind you of any other couple?

  Lloyd likes to claim criticism of him is down to exJWs being too "JW like" and judgemental ... yet here is someone who (as far as we know) hasn't slept with multiple prostitutes (although there are rumours about payoffs and non-disclosure agreements re: an under-age girl from his "drama teacher" days). But regular never-JW people are still critical.

  Why? Because misleading people for personal gain is always grubby and deceitful and points to the low moral character of the person doing it.

  Yeah, right now nothing has really happened - Lloyd just continues to be Lloyd: stringing his patreons along that he'll produce more content any day now (but never does, he's always busy with "things"), claiming he's been defamed but always uses the Clinton technique of focusing on specific words as though it invalidates things, while missing the entire point of what has actually been claimed and so on.

  He'll ride his three-legged "litigation" horse as long as the punters will keep betting on it.

  My prediction is that he'll repeatedly let the clock run down in the court system before belatedly submitting some other document, the minimum amount necessary, to keep things alive so he can keep referring to it for as long as possible.

  Anything but admit he's behaved badly and apologize for any of it - the one thing he's never ever done, still!
