  It would probably be more efficient to post stuff as proper web pages or PDF/eBook format.

  Anyone want to try doing this ? I'm pretty busy for the next couple of weeks but I could probably setup a page somewhere for it.

  I'm really glad you're finding this forum useful. This is exactly the kind of discussion that I thought it would be useful for - the things that need to be discussed but can't easily be raised with local elders because of how they've been instructed to handle them.
  I'm sure that if enough people express concern on a particular issue that they can't ignore the feeling behind it.

  I don't know if you'd class it as a poem but 'Last Thoughts on Woody Guthrie' by Bob Dylan is pretty fantastic.
  I have a few real poetry books - I'll have to dig them out and lookup my favourites.

  let's put forth a question here that should provoke some interesting responses.

  please feel free to give your thoughts on the matter inasmuch as that is the purpose of these boards.

  we (jehovah's witnesses) do not accept blood transfusions on the principle that 'blood is sacred'.

  Sorry to hear you're not too well. My wife has a type of anemia called Von Willerbrands which was an issue when she was having both our kids (one cesaerian, one normal).
  Luckily everything went OK for us. Hope everything goes OK for you!
  I do think that the societies current stance where they are deciding that Jehovah didn't really mean 'blood' when he said 'blood' is a bit untenable and it should be either all or nothing.

  Would you listen to a rumour?

  remember that article brothers?we have been up and running for less than a week and already have had accusations of apostacy bandied about.please stop and think before you make a serious allegation like this.

  imagine the hurt it would cause to a genuine brother if it wasn't true.this doesn't mean that we should let our guard down against those who would try and disrupt things or cause divisions amongst us but i'm sure these poeple would like nothing more than to see us fall out with each other.some of these rumours have been spread by members of other boards or people pretending to be them.just be on your guard to this sort of activity and help us by not passing on unfounded accusations.thank you.
