  RHW - I think the bit you're refering to is from a 1950/51 WatchTower which was expressing regret that 'unrighteous' wordly governments don't allow the WTB&T Society to kill ex-members like the Isrealites could.
  It is definitely on the WatchTower CR-ROM as I remember looking it up to prove to someone that the quote they had was wrong...except of course it was right.

  i find myself lacking in zeal in the door-to-door work.

  i have this hidden feeling that these worldly people are better off to face jah's judgement at armageddon with their ignorance intact, rather than to bring them into our fold to struggle daily for worthiness and perhaps be set up for failure.

  does anyone else ever think this way?

  We need a world of people like you Seven - that would be paradise
  Most people just can't or won't make the time to do anything.
  An elderly couple in my wife's old congregation needed a lot of care and the brother died last week. His wife needs a great deal of help and is unfortunately left on her own as some see 'meetings' as more important.
  Guess what ? Some 'spiritually weak ones' in the congregation have the strange idea that the sister is more important than the meetings and needs their care and attention.
  Where on earth could they have got that idea ? Maybe it was listening to that Jesus guy...

  or an apostate..hate that term..i walked away from it, i dont believe any of it anymore.

  so who is going to be the first to tell me to leave so as not to taint the board?.

  i am 48 female married 30 yrs to same man, very moral, no drugs no alcohol no smokes..just common plain jane here..since i dont believe does this make me bad association..if it does i laugh in your face...now having said that and getting past this, sounds like so many here are disgruntled..if so why do you stay?
