Do you still attend meetings?
by Sassenach ini'm wondering if you still attend meetings?
do you hold out hope for the watchtower organization?
if you've left entirely, have you found another form of worship?

Simon
Last time I went was when my Dad came over and he wanted to see old friends etc...
There were a lot of empty seats but the actual meeting was the same old stuff with the same old cliches... "but this is by no means the end of our meeting brothers...we now how our study of the bible with the aid of the WatchTower..." (shouldn't that be the other way round?) -

There's a site that will work out the probability of you crashing on a specific site based on the route, airline etc... at http://www.amigoingdown.com - it's either reassuring or terrifying depending on your trip !
BTW: Aren't humans optimistic? People think they'll win the lottery with odd of 10 million to one but don't think they will be the million to one person in a crash... -

I read CoC and so has my wife and her parents. It is an essential read by anyone who wants to check out the religion if they are even considering joining.
I think In Search of Christian Freedom has a lot more information in it though and is even better.
And if you want detailed proof that 607-1914 can't be correct then take a look at The Gentile Times Reconsidered. Carl Olaf submitted this to bethel after 6 years of research and they promptly Df'd him and practically everyone who had read his manuscript. They really are keen on the 'truth' aren't they? -

Trust me...you get sick of Tony Blairs stupid grinning face very quickly.
