It's OK, I'll reset them when I get chance - this is actually good as it's spurred me on to finish some long overdue updates to the software which I'll complete and deploy.
But wow - just imagine having such a sad life that this is how you chose to spend your time? We really should feel some pity for people like this - how shitty and pointless must their life be for this to be the highlight of their existence, an "accomplishment" for them?

There are new examples of systemic racism as we speak: when authorities prioritize which businesses get aid and support based on the color of their owner, that is systemic racism. The news was reported that "minority owned businesses will receive priority" ... erm, why? And who has the color card to decide if someone is really dark enough and what the order should be?
Everything should be based purely on the same qualification rules for something, skin color should not count for or against anyone when it comes to entitlement or punishment.
Anything else is systemic racism.

"in all these years of being a jw, i actually never gave it much thought as to why jehovah had to kill millions of innocent animals that had nothing to do with mankind becoming evil.".
i keep picturing in my mind, all the baby puppies and kitties that were destroyed by jehovah.
where did humans get the so-called compassion for these animals

Also, FYI
If I delete a spammer who has been sending DMs, it may show you have a waiting message even though that message has been deleted. I will run a script to update that at some point, just ignore it for now - you are not missing any message (apart from the spam that is!)

But no one could ever accuse religious spammers of not being complete hypocritical jerks - they are probably up to their 30th account now if not more.
These are whack-a-doodle people, looking for an audience and an outlet for their insane ramblings. If you start replying to them, or even worse, taking the messages they have sent to you directly and posting them publicly then you are amplifying what they do and doing their work for them - you become part of the problem.
So please ignore them - their content is easily and quickly removed.

The purpose is to show gods "might"
The reality is it demonstrates the backward nature of the writers, just as many other parts of the bible do. They treat animals with little compassion, same as they treat women - all property, chattel to do with as you please.

It's a revolving door of terms so honestly, I don't give a shit about getting it right because whatever term you use will be deemed "offensive", even when it's the one that was demanded the week before.
We want to be called black ... black is now offensive
We want to be called colored ... colored is now offensive
We want to be called people of color .... people of color is now offensive
We want to be called black <- you are here
I refuse to call people "African American" as it's simply lacking when it comes to communicating - there are lots of white African Americans after all so what is it meant to mean? Oh right ... "black".
We have words for things, they are basic and understood. White, black, how can one be offensive and one not?
three of my sisters - there are five of us - were baptized as witnesses.
one of them has gone from reading voraciously to only reading her textbooks and watchtower publications.
this does not seem to be unusual among witnesses.
I think the opposite is likely true, JWs probably have better than average literacy skills - any group that promotes reading of anything is going to develop better skills.
It doesn't mean everyone is outstanding, there will always be people starting from a low base with a poor education, but I think they will tend to be better off than non JWs in average.
It's one of the forgotten benefits of being raised a JW, practicing reading a lots.
