  Sure, genuine racism should be fought, I'm with that. Those morons who racially abused Saka and Rashford on social media - give then lifetime bans, get the police involved, whatever.

  They should publish all details of all incidents, not just selected ones to prove the problem, so we can see how many and what proportion are genuine incidents and how many are fake. Because I wouldn't be at all surprised if BLM types were some of those sending them. Often activism has a habit of making adherents become the perpetrators when they want to amplify the problem they face in a misguided way.

  Also, what a stupid approach it all is. If you were being bullied as a kid, what is the one thing you wouldn't do? Let people know that something bothered you ...

  When instead you publicly bemoan the mean words you show that it bothers you and then what are people going to use?

  People use words to hurt, and will use whatever words they think hurt most, usually the most obvious. If they want to insult someone who's fat, they don't call them stupid, they reference the most obvious physical attribute that they are likely most sensitive about.

  So announcing what insults you the most to the world ... what do people expect the response will be?

  My point of view is this: I think taking the knee is a poor way to fight racism. It doesn't really achieve anything, save for dividing us based on skin colour, as Punk pointed out.

  It is designed to increase racism, same as BLM - that is their goal.

  The simple fact is that so many incidents of "racism" turn out to be faked - black people painting swastikas and slurs etc... it's clear that the incidents of genuine racism don't meet the demand for it.

  The demand comes from those who want to be victims, because it's become a lucrative game.

  in a scene reminiscent of the fall of saigon, the usa embassy staff have been evacuated by helicopter.. for a third time in asia ( a fourth, if you count usa supported chiang kai shek's defeat in mainland china) usa supported forces have been defeated.

  more than 1 trillion dollars wasted and a huge deathtoll (both sides) afghanistan is back to where it started,.

  will the taliban behave differently this time ?

  Russia and China are doing remarkably well under the Biden administration, you have to wonder exactly what they have on him. I'm guessing, going of the reprobate piece of shit excuse for a son he produced, that they have plenty.   The more that comes out about the withdrawal, the more shambolic it sounds.

  Apparently no one told the commander of the main Bagram airbase that they were leaving - they just turned the power off and left, leaving it all to looters.

  They also didn't notify allies such as the British so they could properly secure consulates and embassies and arrange to extract citizens (which non-US countries are still doing).

  Apparently Hillary Clinton has also been involved behind the scenes ... because she does such a great job in times of crisis. Sorry, I meant creating a foreign crisis ...

  Is this really what America has become? Is this the state of things? Pitiful.

  It is a humanitarian crisis in the first place and having a place under that form of religious rule should never be acceptable. If we didn't go in, we could've at least kept providing freedom-loving Afghans with air support until they got their own air forces ready.

  You seem to have forgotten that there was no humanitarian reason that the war in Afghanistan started. It was based on a litany of lies and then perpetuated with more lies over the next 20 years - the biggest being that we were transforming the country so it could stand on it's own two feet. After 2 decades, trillions of dollars and thousands of lives, it didn't last an afternoon.

  Lies, lies, lies.

  If there was a humanitarian mission to actually change the country, it would need to kill more people to be successful. The stories that troops tell of hearing children being raped and being told not to intervene because "culture" is why nothing changed.

  But then that was the plan. The trillions of dollars are spent on the war but don't stay in the country - they go back to the US and into people's pockets.

  This was never a war that was fought to win or to change anything, just to maintain the status quo and keep going, and going, and going ...

  ... until the wheels finally come off and it becomes untenable.
