No one thought to create a car that can drive itself into a stopped truck at full speed.
Self destroying cars, so people have to buy new ones. Genius!

Don't be daft, the WTS admit they were wrong?
No, they were right then and they are right now, even though things changed in between. Oh, and God's standards never change. Don't think about it too much.

Wow, that has to be up there with relying on the Cuomo brothers on CNN to keep you informed.

Watching the old Rockford files again since the 70s
by mickbobcat infunny but this show has all the current events we have today, nut bar hippie cults, gay issues, and many more and i get to see the old car classics drive around.
anyone ever notice how things do not change all that much?
the big issue is so many idiots mostly left over old far hippies and young idiots who do not know how to tie their own shoe laces are imo much bigger in size than in the 70s.

I always wondered how he'd would have been allowed to live there and where he had his utilities hooked up
It'd be a homeless tent-city in 2021.

WHO finally admits that the shit don't work.

Disgusting reporting!
Once you wake up to the techniques they use, the lies and manipulation are as clear-as-day and you see them doing it everywhere with all manner of things.
Some things get constant promotion, others are consistently denigrated, never arguments or evidence presented fairly and rarely are any dissenting opinions heard in a fair way.

The Beatles: Get Back
by Simon inanyone watching this?
i've just started the 3rd and final episode which starts with i presume stella (no, heather) mccartney as a little kid playing in the studio while they record.. overall it's an amazing behind the scenes view of how they created the album and likely how they worked, the past songs and times they referred to and the camaraderie they had most of the time.. mccartneys song-writing and musical brilliance comes through of course.. overall i give it 5 stars if you're a beatles fan but can see it being too long if you're not.. personally, i have an ever-growing collection of outtake recordings of the beatles and bob dylan and have often come to like them more than the released tracks because they are just so raw and unpolished and you often get to hear how a song developed and evolved over time to the version you finally heard released.. who knew we'd be getting some fresh beatles material all these years later?!.
who knew so many fluffy coats and jackets could be worn by so many people in one place..

The other part that was interesting, toward the end, was the police coming to shut it down.
They claimed they'd had 30 complaints in half an hour, but all the people interviewed outside were overwhelmingly positive about it, even the old folk they asked. There only seemed to be one guy who didn't like it.
But that all seemed to be part of the 'plot', 'cause they only had a certain number of pieces they planned to do outside and, in fact, repeated some of them.

What if I told you that we needed a whistle? Where would you go for it?
Probably the Dollar store. Or Walmart. Or Canadian Tire ... any store that sold sport stuff, right?
How much would you pay? $1? $5? $10? I would feel I was being ripped off if it was anything more than $5 'cause I'm pretty sure I've had whistles out of Christmas Crackers in the past.
Tesla is selling whistles, sorry, I mean "cyberwhistles" for 50 god-damn dollars!
Are people really so brand obsessed that they pay waaaay more than something is worth, in the hopes that Elon will like them?
FFS, what is wrong with people? Think of all the great things you could do with $50 ... better than blow a whistle.
"Note: Cyberwhistles are final sale."
Yeah, I bet they are - 'cause you'd have to be mad to give someone $50 for a whistle and Tesla doesn't want to be doing that!

Other craziness: I order about a half dozen things from one retailer. They each come separately!
Amazon is bad for that. They even sometimes have an option in the checkout to "combine these into one delivery" and even though we have Prime next-day, I'd rather save journeys if I'm not in a hurry for something. Of course whatever you pick they always come separately.
BTW: What should the term be, something like Amaznesia, that describes a package arriving and you have no idea what it is because you ordered so much and forgot something was even due? "Surprise time!"
