  Why is Dijana still with Lloyd? That is the one thing that bothers me very much. Even if this 14 year-old stuff isn't true, Lloyd admitted to hiring prostitutes frequently, oops I mean every 2 to 3 months for a period of 3 to 4 years.

  Yeah, I've wondered this too, especially how he spoke about her in his non-apology video almost putting some of the "blame" on her. Personally, I can't imagine any woman putting up with that, although I know it must happen. The possibilities I can think of:

  She's very forgiving and has simply forgiven him.

  She''s totally controlled or bullied by him and is trapped.

  She's staying for the kids and / or due to family pressure.

  She's happy with a cut of the money he makes, so "meh".

  She's guilty of playing a part in the coverup of a crime.

  Of course it could be combinations of factors, or something else I can't fathom. It really needs a woman's input - what would you do if your husband was caught living the life he has and was unapologetic about it?

  Wow, I totally believe that is his wife, jumping to his defence despite his confession about spending 4 years cheating on her with prostitutes, and not him pretending to be her. Yep, totally legit and completely believable.

  Just shows the Borg's thought process for excusing child sexual assault as only a judicial sin rather than a legal crime.

  It boggles the mind doesn't it, that they have to qualify it as "happening for years" to class as serious? Compare it with the immediate and massive crime of questioning the legitimacy of the claim to be appointed by god?

  This isn't some badly phrased email or memo. Just think, people sat in a room and discussed what they wanted it to say and why. They had some debate about it and wanted it vague so things could be excused for a reason. Someone actually stood up and said "yeah, but only if it's like 'serious' child porn, right? We're agreed on that?"

  What are they afraid of, losing too many elders?

  Met Cedars on this very forum years ago.

  Got cyberbullied by cedars in 2016?17 when he released the CSA video critiquing BBC Panorama and the validity of the numbers on the database Watchtower currently holds on paedophiles. Cedars private mailed me to say "Have some empathy for the victims" after I critqued said video he did.

  Got blocked by him on facebook meaning I could not even respond to that - Hey I'm responding now - Cedars you wankstain!

  This. This is why I don't believe any of his PR that he's doing it for victims. Because his behavior suggests to me that he doesn't care about victims unless they are useful to him, and if someone questions him, even if that person is a victim of the thing he claims to campaign about, he turns nasty and vindictive.

  They definitely should not do that at all. They need to leave it with the police ...

  So if the police could find me, then they definitely can find this "Becca" and we should leave it in the hands of the governing authorities.

  Yeah, just to re-iterate, NO ONE should be seeking out any potential abuse victims, it should be left in the hands of those qualified to do so and with the resources and authority to do so.

  It's completely up to them whether they want to pursue something, and no one wants some random stranger contacting them about some past experience.

  It's like when people are outside court for someone like Bill Cosby, you have to wonder, WTF is wrong with you?! Don't you have any standards?!

  I mean, there is being "loyal" in tough times, but at some point people surely have to have a line that they won't cross, an act that is "too much"?

  I guess some people don't.

  Some people need a messiah to worship, they just replace the WTS with their next blind-faith experience.

  The problem he has is he's already admitted he can't control himself sexually, has shown a lack of respect for "girls" (they are simply something for him to use for his own gratification), and the same excuse he uses for his lack of control shows up in those chat messages.

  It's not a leap to think that this excuse is something he's found valuable, because he's used it before both to get away with things and to get what he wants.

  We already know he was in trouble for sex chats, again, from his own admission in his own book which I believe he said in his video was to pre-empt someone trying to expose it (but does he truly reveal all the details?), and that his wife found out about it. He himself repeatedly refers to them as "girls", so he can't complain if people interpret it exactly as written (and its repeated in his video). It's certainly possible that part of his wife finding out and reporting it was passing on the evidence, and / or also getting advice from someone, a close relative for example, which would explain how a copy came to be.

  I don't know whether those messages are legit or not, but I do know they appear to be from the time stated on them for technical reasons, they match his MO in terms of the excuse he likes to trot out and they align with the pieces of a story we've already been told (and I think, prior to him telling it, so they weren't based on that). They don't stand out as odd or a contradiction to anything, in fact they fill in and explain some things.

  For instance, we even have the "weird" situation where Mr Activist claims to have something on the WTS, but won't release it, and wouldn't record his own judicial committee, which makes it appear that what he has on them is something todo with himself. The 3rd party info about what happened in the congregations with elders stepping down and his father using his authority also makes this credible. Especially when you add the subsequent moving to Croatia, which he describes using the expression "we had to leave the UK" which again, is something the accusation of the messages explains, more pieces of a jigsaw fitting together perfectly.

  To me, it all seems credible, it matches what we know of him, the overall narrative of the story, and explains some of the missing pieces that would still need some other explanation.

  That doesn't mean it's true of course.

  If it isn't true, then there are major plot-gaps that would still need some other explanation.

  But as slimboyfat says, I doubt we'll ever get a truly satisfactory outcome unless he does a major come-to-jesus confession or a witness comes forward. His denials still leave gaps and as much as he thinks people treat him as public enemy number one, to many of us he's just an obnoxious jerk that we don't want anything more todo with ... I can't honestly see anyone going to such lengths to try to frame someone, or somehow know that they would subsequently act in a way that would make such stories (from way earlier) look so believable. So "smear campaign by haters" is simply far too convenient.

  What a book. It's up there with "twilight" in terms of quality.
