i can see it that watchtower will become an online/tv based group with just con-vention hall$.. field service would be letter writing and phone preaching, door to door is done.. watchtower will have pay to view programs and still ask for donations after all that.. zoom meetings are here to stay.

kingdumb halls will be sold off except for con-vention venues, or need for new ones$.. df'ing will continue.

the craziness will continue.

As much as many of us would love to wake up one day to read headlines about some shock collapse of the WTS we have to accept that it simply isn't going to happen.
I don't believe the vast majority of JWs really know what the current doctrines are, they are largely unimportant to people's "belief" in the current thing. It's how they feel about being a member, being part of it all, and the morals and lifestyle they promote.
Remember that they fill a niche, so even if the WTS was magically removed, something else would evolve to fill the position that they occupy and to appeal to those members.
This is why it's a waste of our time, energy and money to make destroying the WTS our goal.
But what isn't a waste is to help those who do want to leave to do so successfully and with as little negative impact on their life as possible.

I don't believe he would pay someone to do something that isn't of direct benefit to him.
IMO he's removing things for a reason and the "edited re-release" excuse is just cover.
Or it's a distraction from the fact that he doesn't have any new content now people don't want to work with him.

I think the JWs have the right to believe in certain moral standards. She clearly broke them.
The "reinstatement" will be academic 'cause everyone will know about it and won't accept the government overruling of the decision, so what's the point?
But more important I think in this case is someone appears to be willing to cry "rape" after the fact simply to excuse their own behavior, because it's convenient to them.
EVERYONE should shun her, not just JWs.

vaccines and other things were all deemed bad.

I remember people talking about this and it wasn't in a dismissive way, it was the same crazy belief that they gave the WTS claims.
It's clearly fraud, and yet the government allows it. But then if they started to clamp down on health-related fraud there would be a lot more industry and revenue being shut off.

Perhaps if he hadn't taken a bunch of camera equipment and film ~~team~~ crew, he might have fitted in more people. Why doesn't he go back for more, or was it a one off to make you tube content on the back of the crises?
Yeah, it's the difference between going to do a good thing for the sake of doing it alone, and maximizing what you can do, which means no "team" and less equipment ... and doing it for PR purposes.
I haven't watched it, but is it really about helping or is to be seen to be helping? I'm sure the last thing people fleeing want to see is a YouTuber making a film about them.
But vulnerable people that can be of use to Lloyd? Fire up the cameras ...
