They don't even try to hide their insane bias and nutty agendas anymore, it's blatant propaganda for the latest crazy belief.

TV and the Media
by punkofnice ini look at tv and the media as all fiction.. i wonder if the media is now just a tool to cauterise the brain and zombify us?
i'm sure the uk's bbc does.
it seems to be a tool to brainwash people to buy into latest agenda or trend that must be followed.....or you're an outcast like a disfellowshipped one.

It's a slow process of trying to wean them off the "drug" of the WTS and replace it with something better.
Of course you can't guarantee that you will ... but you can enjoy trying, and thinking up things to do that strengthen the family experience so that it hopefully pushes out the need for them to dedicate so much time to the religion.
Good luck.

ANTI-DEPRESSANT medication for the last 60 years now proved to be based on poorly supported false theory
by Terry in"the chemical imbalance theory of depression is still put forward by professionals, and the serotonin theory, in particular, has formed the basis of a considerable research effort over the last few decades.
the general public widely believes that depression has been convincingly demonstrated to be the result of serotonin or other chemical abnormalities, and this belief shapes how people understand their moods, leading to a pessimistic outlook on the outcome of depression and negative expectancies about the possibility of self-regulation of mood""read: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1m92v7hb0njm2mnvnu6nv0kpnkzloe-_k4crh_wphpti/edit?usp=sharing.

told that in some patients it can cause suicidal thoughts
So many times the drugs can cause way worse symptoms of the things they are supposed to "cure" (or suppress)
in the US a doctor gives whatever the customer will pay for
Doctors prescribe what the drug companies pay them most to push, and they pay lavishly.
No different to financial advisors suggesting you put your money in mutual funds that pay them the most commission.
Fundamentally, every profession is made of people and people are always the same - selfish and driven by their own gain. If you believe your doctor is some holy saint who's only looking out solely for your best interest, you may need to look closer.
The best case for you is that they happen to get the most or equal kickback from the drug company that happens to make the drug that best suits your condition.

Mega Millions Jackpot…
by Biahi inin the us, our mega millions lottery jackpot has reached over 1billion dollars!
what would you do if you won?
i think i’d run public service announcements on television, alerting people of the dangers of the wt cult, among other things.

1 billion dollars? That's a lot of hookers and blow!
Seriously, that would be life-altering for many many people in your life - I think a nice off-grid retreat somewhere in the mountains would be nice. Kinda like a bond-villain setup, you know the thing :)
I'd probably sink a ridiculous amount on an animal rescue / sanctuary.

Unfortunately most people want a pill to 'fix' things quickly ...
Very true.
"So, you have trouble 'getting it up'? Well, you have two options: you can either exercise regularly, eat healthy and quit drinking ... or you can buy some blue viagra pills. Oh, you want the pills? What a surprise ..."
Take the red pill or the blue? which do you choose?
"Wait, no ... not both, oh shit, we need to call someone ... he just took BOTH pills. I don't know what happens now ..."
Man walks around, politically aware of the woke agenda but with a huge boner.

Given that as a Brit l didn't have to pay for my medication at point of contact as it was on the NHS l was happy to try it .
What better thing for a drug company than to have people demand a product that the government pays for. Hoe many people wouldn't need them so much if the costs were more direct?
In fact how do you suggest that anyone suffering from depression of any kind be treated without drugs
It's widely recognized that hard work and exercise work wonders for mental well-being. Why not solve the cause rather than the symptoms?
NOTE: This is not a comment about your particular case, but about the over-prescribing issue in general. I think it's hard to argue that the medical industry makes obscene profits by pushing drugs onto people who maybe don't really need them. The fact that so many studies and data is falsified is a smoking gun.

It's funny how changing race is seen as silly and laughable.
The reality is that I'm way closer to being a black man or an asian man then I ever would be to being a woman. If I claimed I was black or asian I'd be condemned and cancelled, but if I said I thought I was a woman it would not only be affirmed, but I would be encouraged to take medications and have surgery to make it "real" and it would be illegal for anyone to even ask "are you sure you're not just a little crazy?"

Can a Bank "legally" steal your $$ ??
by Terry inwhen a bank fails, it is legal for that lending institution to perform a "bail-in" (rather than a bailout) for itself.. .
the first sign or signal to the depositor is a red flag moment easy to recognize.
the atm is "out of cash"..

With currency debasement / inflation, the government is literally taking the value of your money from your account.
They then tax you on the notional gains you made as the denominated price of your house and assets increase.
Remember - it's important to separate money from the value of money. The value is what goods and services it can buy. If $100 could buy all the goods in the world, and they print another $100, then the value halved. If you had $1 in your bank you still have $1 but the value is now $0.50 of what it was based on what you can buy with it.
