Picture the scene at Twitter HQ:

Elon is sat at his desk, scanning the computer, a worried look on his face.

"No", he whispers.

Why is Lloyd so bent on Kim proving her lawyer status?

It's a meaningless distraction to divert the spotlight away from the real issue which is his poor behavior.

Like in "A few Good Men", he's hoping that the mere appearance of something wrong will undermine all claims made.

It's what he does, what he's always done - try to find something, anything, however insignificant so he can then say "ah ha, see, it's LIES, it's ALL LIES". Of course it isn't, but he's easily convinced, especially by himself.

And really, even if Kim was never ever a lawyer ... what the fuck would that have to do with the price of milk? (that's a UK expression, to highlight how one thing has no bearing on another).

But I have no reason to question anything she says and many many reasons not to believe anything that comes out of his fat hairy gob.

I think people miss the point of charging for Twitter.

There is an element of it removing the "esteem" of having a verified checkmark, although honestly I've never put much weight by it personally.

And yes, many of the people objecting at having to pay $8 a month are really annoyed that YOU will be able to get what they had, for only $8 a month.

But the main thing is bots. You could easily run tens of thousands of bots and not only doesn't it cost you anything it costs the company. Having a charge changes the equation. It's why the future will be micro-transactions for sending email and using other services.

And just like all the threats that people make about "moving to Canada" after every election or judicial decision, the reality is the majority of people are all talk and will pony up the money.

This is why I think Lloyd is missing a few marbles. He's not just *not* smart, he's actually dumb.

It seems like he invents some narrative and the minute he's come up with it the first sucker is himself. he actually seems to believe his claims, and acts as though it's real. Posts things publicly and then moves on to his next incident with no thought that the stories have to be consistent.

So he flips from "me so poor, kids so hungry" to make a point about how unfair it is that people are not sending him the free monies, to "look at me, the big man, flashing cash on silly adult toys!". No self awareness that he's a) stupid with money and b) exposing himself as a blatant liar.

As for the court stuff: his issue will always be that he has no business or legitimate income to harm. Begging online is not a job. Soliciting donations isn't earning money. It's all contingent on people's good will and his reputation and he blew that to pieces all on his own. He doesn't have any right to expect people to donate to him. The fact that he set himself up to rely on that for "income" and at the same time took it so for granted that he believed he could behave so despicably, in a way that would offend most reasonable people, goes back to his complete lack of self awareness.

Also important is that those it's reported to take proper action, otherwise it's not really going to make any difference.

Too much horrific child abuse by grooming gangs has been ignored by authorities and local councils. Anyone who did should be prosecuted. At the very least, they should lose their jobs.

Let me just state that I would never second guess Simon on his decision to delete someone. 10 years ago, without knowing what Lloyd has done now I think I still would have had the opinion as stated above.

Is Raiders of the Lost Ark OK for a 7 year old? In addition to the violent scenes mentioned above, Raiders of the Lost Ark contains images that might scare or upset children under eight. In particular, one scene towards the end of the movie contains horror images as well as blood and gore. Younger children might find it very disturbing and frightening.

Take a step back. Lloyd is spending "quality time" with his kids. He'd prefer to be elsewhere, doing other things (i.e. doing prostitutes), but he has to watch a movie.

What movie does he pick? Something the kid wants to watch? Fuck no! He picks something he wants to re-watch.

Because I guarantee no 8 year old wants to watch some 40+ year old movie with religion and nazis in it. They want to watch a Pixar or Disney movie, or Pepper-Pork, erm, I mean Pig.

He's such a selfish twat, even watching a movie with his kid has to be his choice, not theirs.
