How on earth does someone need to fly half way round the world, wife and kids in tow, to "interview" someone?

Just open a bloody zoom call or whatever, and we've had those for the last 10-20 years.

This notion that money == action is just an insidious flame that attracts annoying moths like Lloyd.

If you leave the WTS, save your money. There is nothing you need to donate to anymore. There is nothing that needs funding. The most effective things are all free.

I do know he was banned from JWN however I don’t know how long ago he was banned.

It was quite a while, when the AAWA thing blew up but he'd been trouble for some time before that.

He was just pure unadulterated asshole and the forum was better without his corrupting presence, although he still tried to have influence, making threats if people made non-fawning comments on his videos. He always tries to control what can be said about him.

That's why I blocked every link to his website and usually removed his videos if people posted them.

The first weeks/months were hard however I became heartened when people stopped and started thinking with their logical brains after the emotions settled down. I hope it’s a lesson we all learn from.

I always try to support someone who appears to be a whistle blower. Not because I know for certain that they are telling the truth, but because it's unlikely they are going to take all that heat without good reason and in general, I think we should always support anyone who's willing to stick their head above the wall and speak out about things. Society needs people like that for self correction.

Same applies for Covid, gender issues and everything else too.

Man is his spot going to suck. I'm sure the audience will just gobble up his Kingdom Hall stories and be on the floor laughing.

His main problem is that I don't think he can laugh at himself. If he could, he'd have material to spare.

I can imagine that what HE thinks is funny ... just isn't, and it might just be another bitter public breakdown:

"They didn't like that I regularly cheated on my wife with prostitutes ... SO I SUED THEM!!! HA ha, ha ha ha ha haaaaa!!!"

accordingly, they are still at it, hell bent on destroying all.. here is my question; how is it that the creation thinks they can win a war with the universal creator?

Some interesting things to note:

There is Crypto, and there is Bitcoin, they are not the same. Crypto is hated by Bitcoin "maximalists" who call it all "scams" (which 99.9% are, though some have real utility).

Bitcoin was an innovative invention. While it can be copied, there can only be one original. It is truly unique and unreproducible, even though the code can be easily cloned.

All the copies vary in that they provide the "inventors" with their own supply of coins or the ability to mint unlimited coins. All the things wrong with Fiat money, but amplified.

FTX appears to be involved with the same shady political characters: Clinton foundation, Biden donations, money laundering through Ukraine, SEC involvement etc... Expect no arrests or much media coverage of the close links to Biden and the democrat crime syndicate.

I wouldn't be so sure - early on he was cheating on his wife by sexting others.

In fact he was "misbehaving" even before he was married. Which is what make his claim that the WTS "tampered with him" so bizarre - it's not like he ever lived by JW rules.

He's always been a fraud, whatever life he's pretended to be living.

Knowing his penchant for always admitting to lesser crimes, it’s a safe bet he had carried on several online relationships which did not end when he got married. Nor was it just two times his wife caught him.

So this behaviour has been going on ever since they were married in 2007. At some point he graduated from cybersexting to prostitutes.

Yeah, I don't believe that "every 2-3 months for 4 years" claim, it wouldn't surprise me if he hasn't been doing it all the time, even as a JW.

Nothing in his book will be "the truth", it will be some scaled back version so as not to sound too bad.

Reality will likely be far more shocking than anything he admits.

If you question any narrative and show any independent thought, you're now immediately classed as a nazi.

The old clunky software doesn't help - when I get chance I'll finish modernizing things so it's more modern and up-to-date.

But ultimately, people can read and join whatever community they like and having more alternatives is more valuable than one.

The concept of "leaving" Twitter is silly.

Same with advertisers. The point of them advertising in the first place is to benefit themselves. So "withdrawing their advertising" is surely removing that benefit and hurting themselves? Well played fools, well played.

Same deal with economic sanctions - the trade deals were mutually beneficial, that's the point of trade. So whatever harm you do to the other country you do equally to yourselves too.
