Don't pay him a penny, for anything. Not worth it, even for shits and giggles.

Loyalty badges? You get a little icon?
I thought NFTs were peak-scam, but he found a way ...
Anyway, I'm starting my own patreon:
Anyone who donates $10 will get an email telling them what a fool they are for giving me $10.
The $50 gets you a phone call to notify you of your foolishness and for every $5 extra I'll throw in some unique profanities.
For the premium platinum idiot level sponsors paying $100 I drive round to your house and punch you in the face.
It's still better that what he's offering!
what i mean by the title of this thread is what has happened to a relative of mine, one who is really upset about this factor:.
this relative is a distant cousin on my mother's side of the family.
she studied as a child and got baptized at 14 1/2 years old.
It's a sad story, but it's not unique to JWs and leaves out the huge factor of parental and personal responsibility.
At some point you grow up and should start thinking about the direction of your life. Many don't and it's easy to drift downstream ...

What kind of idiot owns a domain name and has the email be a gmail account and not the domain itself?
Especially given the nature of correspondence, people being potential victims, it's reckless because it makes it so easy to imitate.
[email protected]? or was it [email protected]? etc...
16 the first appeared, saying, ‘[d]master, your [e]mina has made ten minas more.’ 17 and he said to him, ‘well done, good slave, because you have been faithful in a very little thing, you are to be in authority over ten cities.’ 18 the second came, saying, ‘your [f]mina, [g]master, has made five minas.’ 19 and he said to him also, ‘and you are to be over five cities.’ 20 another came, saying, ‘master, here is your mina, which i kept put away in a handkerchief; 21 for i was afraid of you, because you are an exacting man; you take up what you did not lay down and reap what you did not sow.’ 22 he *said to him, ‘[h]by your own words i will judge you, you worthless slave.
23 then why did you not put my money in the bank, and having come, i would have collected it with interest?’ 24 then he said to the bystanders, ‘take the mina away from him and give it to the one who has the ten minas.’ 25 and they said to him, ‘master, he has ten minas already.’ 26 i tell you that to everyone who has, more shall be given, but from the one who does not have, even what he does have shall be taken away.
luke....‘take the mina away from him and give it to the one who has the ten minas.
To one he gave five talents, to another, two, and to another, one, each according to his own ability;
It's funny, because of the caricature of Jews + money, that it mistakes absolute gains with percentage gains.
The one who got two talents gained exactly the same 100% return as the one who got five talents, so if anything the one who received two over-achieved (if he was expected to earn less).

So he pays €400 to SurveyMonkey and comes back here with his hand out, thinking encouragement meant the same people should reimburse him
Remember: don't believe anything he tells you, especially when money is involved. You can do a lot on the internet for free or very little cost. Just because he's asking for $400 doesn't mean it costs $400.
And SSL certificates are now free on most platforms, and hosting for most small sites can also be had within a free-tier on most platforms ... if you know what you are doing.

So he's giving himself over a month to simply fix a website? Shows how much he values his "information", LOL

The way he flips from doing a "me so poor, can't pay for kids haircut" to showing off his new lego toys and international trips is really something to behold.
