  I’m going to say that at his current rate of grift, Lloyd can’t afford to move back to the UK. He’s nobody there. He’s stuck in Croatia, and more importantly, stuck doing exJW activism and videos for donations. He cannot walk into an office in Manchester, go on about how he made YT videos for the past decade and expect to receive an offer of employment that does not involve cleaning toilets.

  This is key - he's trapped in circumstances of his own making.

  He has no job history, nothing to point to. He can't even point to his video work because ... well Mr Evans, why did you stop that? Oh ... I see! Serious character flaws, not really what employers look for - he's a liability that could easily end up embarrassing a company.

  He's really unemployable other than menial work cleaning tables and collecting glasses. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but he doesn't seem capable of actual hard work.

  So he's destined to stay in Croatia as a beggar where the money he solicits will at least go further. He can try and sell it that it's Patreons supporting some work, but we all know it's just begging.

  He's not the type of person that can plan ahead. I wonder if he even has any plans for life in 10 or 20 years time? Because he's already old news in the exJW world and at some point you have to start thinking about retirement and whether you've made suitable plans for later life.

  "So I'm asking you, my loyal Patreons one last time ... can you send me some money for meals on wheels?"

  first new zealand's dictator resigned and now nicola sturgeon the first minister of scotland has announced her intention to go.. nobody is certain exactly what the trigger was but there are plenty of possibilities.

  the final straw may have been her 'gender recognition' act that would have made it possible for anybody 16 and over to legally change their sex on a whim.

  the vast majority of scots were opposed but she battered the legislation through holyrood regardless.

  What an utter clown and vile low-life piece of shit to do such a thing. To harass people like that, who have nothing todo with anything, is purely hateful and vindictive.

  His subsequent posts about it are clearly designed to try to give the impression that big trouble is brewing as another way of harassing people.

  The Last of Us

  looking forward to the first episode of this new computer-game to tv-show adaptation that airs this sunday.. it has pedro pascal from got and the madalorian plus bella ramsey, also from got, who played the bad-ass lady mormont.. lots of it was filmed near us, some right round the corner (there's quite a few productions film around here, we get ice-cream near where they filmed scenes from interstellar).. this show is a post-apocalyptic zombie series and early reviews are that it's awesome, so i'm hoping for good things, especially since walking dead jumped the shark a few seasons ago and we gave up on it.. anyone else planning to watch?.

  Still fun seeing different places you know, in such a different setting - amazing how they are transformed.

  Anyone else watching? Episode 3 was simply masterful story-telling and great performances. Very moving and pretty unusual to have the main characters not really feature in it at all for so much of it, and just come in at the end but it worked incredibly well.

  I nearly missed the latest episode (stupid Superbowl!) which was another gut wrencher of a story, but also showed the threat of the infected / mutated. These are not the convenient-to-kill shufflers from The Walking Dead.

  it's just that I cannot imagine him calmly or cleverly dealing with hecklers.

  But can't you picture it? Someone shouts something out so he threatens them with legal action. The crowd would finally have something to laugh at because of how ridiculous it was, and he'd get more annoyed and threaten to sue them too. So they would then all laugh even more.

  Hopefully someone would catch such a meltdown on video for all to enjoy.

  are the gb members knowingly pulling a con, or do they have delusions of grandeur?

  I actually find it difficult to accept that anyone truly believes things, but I'm willing to suspend my disbelief and go with the hypothesis that there are those who are sincere and maybe do.

  Am I willing to accept that someone sincere would do what is necessary to climb a corporate ladder? (because all corporate ladders are the same)

  Am I willing to accept that someone who is aware of all the crimes, sins, corruption and coverups is still "sincere" when they have reached the top?

  No, no I am not.

  It's all an act, no different to all the other TV evangelists who put on a show but clearly don't believe what they are selling - it's an act to take money from the sincere believers at the bottom.

  Anyone who was sincere would shut it down when they reached the top. The fact that there has only been one GB member who had a Crisis of Conscience tells you how rare that is, and how self-selecting the climb to the top is. Maybe he was an anomaly as he might have got their from family relations.

  Fuck off, you fucking free-loading layabout!.

  I work, I save, I buy insurance, I act like an adult. I don't expect fundraisers or benefits because I don't need them because I plan, prepare and set aside funds to pay my way and support my family even if the unforeseen happens.

  Seriously, there is way too much misguided charity that simply rewards grifters and opportunists - those who seem to spend most of their time filming advertorials about how much they need your help and your money, more time and energy then they spend working on solving their own problems.

  Save your money for those who would truly benefit because their environment means they lack the resources to get ahead, who don't live in wealthy western countries, who don't have banking, who would benefit from a loan (and work to pay it back!)

  His "I'm gonna say" was the equivalent of when a Dr asks you how many units of alcohol you drink a week. Everyone thinks "shit, I can't tell the truth, what was the limit again? I need to be somewhere close to that at least".

  That was his "thinking" before he answered. If you are visiting prostitutes so regularly for such an extended period of time, I suspect you know exactly how often you're doing it without having to think.

  Especially as that was the whole subject of the video in the first place.

  If a Dr arranges an appointment and says "we'll talk about your alcohol consumption" there is no way you don't mentally prepare and know the answers before hand.

  But the whole thing was an act, that's why he kept pausing the performance when "Mr YouTuber" couldn't work a video feed.
