  Is this the sexual tampering the WTS did? Stopped him being gay? Is that why he talks about "sexting girls" and visiting prostitutes so much, to try to compensate and convince himself that he's straight?

  I'm sure there are opportunities for drug-addicted rent-boys in Croatia so he doesn't have to be dependent on his shrinking patreons forever.

  So it was Illegal?

  Sure sounds like it. IMO it's just a continuation of his "thrill-seeking" behavior, which I attribute to someone being dead inside. Anything to feel something?

  It's reckless and irresponsible behavior if you're a single person, but when you have a family? Well, he's already shown his disdain for them, so no surprise he doesn't put his responsibility toward them high on his list, certainly not above "things that might make Lloyd feel good".

  He's on the path now, he'll grow bored as the current experiences becomes numb, and move on to something more "exciting" and as long as there's a helpful pusher ready to give him his first hit for free, he'll be keen to accept the offer.

  Yeah, Lloyd is working hard on his "be appealing to JWs" routine:

  • Regularly visiting prostitutes to cheat on his wife
  • Treating his wife like trash and disrespecting her
  • Taking (illegal?) drugs
  • Stealing other people's property

  I don't care what you think your "message" is, if you want to help current or leaving JWs you need to be normal and respectable enough that they would want to associate with you.

  AFAICT magic mushrooms are still illegal in Canada. I'm not sure a patient is really "under your care" to be treated, via email in another country for any special access to really be valid.

  So possibly one more illegal thing to add to his list, and very irresponsible to be promoting it.

  Also on that page, it lists one of the potential physical effects as "lack of urinary control". So "I spoke with God" may just be something more impressive to claim than "I awoke in a pool of my own piss"

  Sorry, but anyone who believes they spoke to god while taking mind altering substances and considers it "might have been real", and not just a result of their mind letting go of the flight controls as it tries to deal with "may void your warranty" change to the normal environment due to those substances is pure 100% bat-shit stupid and gullible beyond belief.

  "Pssst ... wanna chat with god some more? I have more stuff!!"

  Drugs are more often directly responsible for mental illness, not the cure for it (even the "cure" type ones). People who say otherwise usually have drugs to sell you.

  Moving forward, earning at or slightly above the national average is the best case scenario for him for the little work that he does. It will carve out an existence in Zagreb for him but little else. That’s what he’s so angry about and why he had to get out of town for as long as he did.

  Who thinks Lloyd is a wise and sensible person who puts money away for retirement, instead of just living for the "here and now".

  Yeah, me neither!

  It appeats that when he has money, it immediately goes on hookers, travel, lego toys, childish t-shirts and generally living-large.

  It's going to be even funnier when life really catches up with him.

  Yeah, we'll probably never know what the reality was but one thing we DO know for certain - he absolutely did have something to fucking hide otherwise he would have recorded it. It makes no sense to say you have nothing to hide and then hide things! It was his chance to go out with a sensational video piece, and he took a pass for no reason whatsoever? It doesn't make sense.

  What are the chances that when his subsequent sexual behavior was uncovered, it would be along the same lines as the allegations made about him years before, which would explain so so many things.

  as a signed up jw for most of my life I have been under the wt's rule of law on masterbation,oral sex etc etc too.

  And of course, by his own accounts, he never actually adhered to or even appeared to try to adhere to the rules. He broke them and behaved improperly. When he left, he continued to live an immoral life (immoral by "worldly standard", because the vast majority of normal people don't view cheating on your wife with prostitutes as in any way defensible or excusable).

  He wasn't tampered with in any way - he did whatever he wanted to whether as a JW or after he left. The strict WTS rules just weren't able to control his behavior.
