Someday they will make hybrid SUV's..........until then, I am stuck on my gas guzzler and all the room it has to carry stuff. Plus, it's a lot safer than little cars in an accident. But I sure do envy those drivers of hybrid Toyotas!! The hybrids are even allowed to go in the commute lane without having to have another rider!.

AUTO GASOLINE .85 CENTS A GALLON IN IDAHO

thought you might find this of interest.. for late model vehicles with multi fuel systems, gasoline consisting of 85% methanol "alcohol" and 15% gasoline is now available at one service station in boise idaho, at (( eighty five cents )) a gallon.. the methanol is made from potato waste left over at processing plants.. it has fewer contaminants than gasoline and if spilled, the methanol will turn into water, making it environmental acceptable.. performance is supposed to be equal to gasoline.. that eighty five cents a gallon looks good to me.. outoftheorg.

Whose been to Hawaii?
by ChakkaConned ini'm thinking of taking a vacation to hawaii.
i've not researched it yet so i don't know which island to stay on and don't know what there is to see or do besides snorkeling and don ho.
for any who have been, can you share your opinions and perhaps some advice based on your experience in paradise?

Well, most people go to Oahu, the island where you will find Don Ho and Waikiki Beach. It's a great place to visit. If you plan to go there make sure you visit the Royal Hawaiian hotel and Iolani Palace. You can also go over to the back side of the island and its way different over there. The Ala Moana shopping center is neat, too..........get a pina colada to go! Pearl Harbor tours are interesting and emotional. Snorkeling in Hanama Bay is a must and then go over to Punch Bowl. Punch Bowl is now a cemetary but it was where the Japanese were interred during WWII.
Have you thought of going to Maui?

My Mother's Being Announced in November As OFF The Pioneer List

conversation she was going to be announced as no longer pioneering.
the co mostly talked about me, my wife and daughter.

It's sad they decided to underhandedly make her feel her age and infirmity had to do with her being removed when it was because she attended your daughter's wedding. Your actions should not be part of the conversation with her unless it had to do with her being depressed or if you were the cause of her low hours........... which were not.

You said that he is a thug. Well, for now, anyway, he is acting like one. Doesn't mean he is going to stay that way.
I will tell you one thing that effected me. My ex was in jail for spousal abuse. I went to go visit him. As I stood in the waiting room there were tons of women NOT like me. They were very different and very gang-like. I was nervous being there. When it was my turn to see the sheriff and he asked the purspose of my visit, I told him. He gave me the riot act. He said that he was in jail for spousal abuse. He asked if I was stupid. He said he is in for a time out. He was incarcerated for PUNISHMENT. He suggested I go home. I did. Didn't go visit him anymore.
As co-dependants, we have to stop being that way. This is your time-out, too.
