I'm with Simon..........smaller planes to direct airports instead of hubs. I can't stand that it takes 17 hours to get to the Caribbean with all the flight changes and waiting around ....... (oh yes, I am including driving time of 20 minutes to the airport and then waiting at the damn airport for an hour for the flight to take off........)

Good Afternoon, Jehovah! OOps, sorry, sorry....
by Englishman inoops.
"good afternoon jehovah" est verboten!
look, wt 15 march, 86:when individuals have the opportunity to speak to kings or rulers of this world, they usually do so respectfully and with dignity, highly appreciating the privilege.

I think it is inappriopriate to tell others how to pray to a God that is supposed to be your Friend and Father. I say Good Morning to my co-workers, to my Dad, my daughter, my boss and the housekeeping ladies at work. I think you need to greet each person when you have contact with them. If the President of the United States was my boss, I would say, "Good Morning Sir."

Why I am leaving JWD
by logansrun ini'm leaving this forum...at least temporarily.
as i mentioned in conversation over dinner at the chicago apostafest, my upcoming school schedule (which begins next week) combined with my workload will make it very difficult to be an active member on this forum.
perhaps i'll check in occassionaly when life is a little slower but for now i'd better distance myself from the on-line scene or else the other elements in my life will suffer.

Good luck to you! But I beg to differ.......I think everyone should be viewed as special. Many people's problems stem from not enough good self esteem......and other's problems from being ego-centric. It's a balancing act. But you're right, everyone on this planet is going thru something.

Wolfgirl, the guys who went to that special ministerial training school had to subscribe to that rule: not date for 2 years. Later though, that was repealed since it smelled like a celibacy rule. Bethelites are allowed to date............in fact, some of them date rampantly!!!!!! But if they want to marry and stay at Bethel they have to apply as a couple.
Euph..........I think as long as they remain engaged they don't have to make arrangements to leave until the wedding date approaches. Or until they are accepted as a couple.

Understanding Homicidal bereavement
by Xandria inthe process of mourning after a homicide occurs in cycles, and seems to happen more than once.
this is because you are involved not only in grieving, but also in learning to understand a confusing criminal justice system - and possibly trying to put a murderer in jail, among the other details to this type of crime.
while you may feel as if you are going backward or standing still, you are not.
