Phoney Baloney
by Perfection Seeker inone of my biggest pet peeves of being a witness was when the overseer would come visit, and everyone was sooo nice, sweet to everyone, no clicks, they'd arrive early, stay after & talk, everyone would raise their hands, give "heartfelt" answers, looked nice, sang loud, just the model congregation.
yet, when the overseer wasnt there, people would come late, leave early, not be nice to everyone, blah blah.
i guess to me- if they knew what they "should" be doing, why not do it all the time?

No Future
by Perfection Seeker ini think it is sad how witnesses don't think future.
they don't save for a rainy day, don't plan for retirement, don't get higher education, alot are overweight, thinking why bother, don't worry about their health, etc.
and, have you notice, they almost try to get people to have low self esteem?

I had a 401K whenever the employer offered one. Other than that, I was a regular pioneer and didn't have the money to ever contribute to the fund, I worked part-time (yah right, 3 12 hour days most of the time) and then had to put in 90 hours a month. Lucky for me, my profession is not reliant upon degrees but sales, so now I am able to work a more sensible schedule.
I remember a life insurance agent soliciting me and I listened. I heard him out and then said I already had a plan. It was called "The New System" he said he never heard of that plan. I informed him. Boy, he must've had a hard time keeping a straight face as I witnessed to him and placed the Awake on 1914 I just "happened" to have in my purse, although he did bring me a magazine (secular) that referred to 1914 as changing the world. A whole article about it.

I was "in the truth" even after I got df'd, I went to several meetings and to the Memorial alone. Mr. Self Righteous didn't bother. Yet I am accused as the source of his discouragement, LOL, and the one tearing down his faith, LOL

Simplesally aka kats......
hey everyone, he is just too much. Can't keep silent anymore, it's me posting over here. If I wanted to slander him or dish dirt, I, too, could do so. So could a lot of other people. But we have a daughter, I guess he thought more of slandering the woman who is divorcing him rather than the mother of his child. As a mother, I would not want people to think ill of her father, so I don't go making posts about focus or crit van tuyl.
Oh gosh, I can't believe he did this behind my back thinking I would never know. Someone sent me the email as well.....anonymously.
