Zankou is not Moroccan............ it's considered Middle Eastern. They started up in the Glendale area where the population is very M.E. (primarily Lebanese and Persian). Zankou now has Pasadena, Anaheim and Van Nuys locations as well as the original Glendale.

When Mr Emu arrived, Mr Monkey attempted to explain to Mr Cat that emus are flightless birds. Mr Cat appeared to accept this, but later attempted to again recreate the adventures of Nils, as he did when Tommy the Duck visited, only this time without the benefit of special effects.
Interestingly, the flight was too short to be pictured, and the only photographic record is of the pair preparing to take off from the one of the living room gargoyles, and Mr Cat's post landing attempt to deny all responsibility.

I love Moroccan food. Has anybody else been to a Moroccan restaurant? There are at least 2 I know of here in the LA area. One of the dishes I love the best is b'stilla. It's a chicken, almond, egg, cinnamon pie wrapped in philo topped with powdered sugar. MMMM good.
And the best part is ............ you sit on pillows on the floor or low couches. You eat with your fingers. Your napkin is about the size of a towel. Belly Dancers!
my daughter and her husband have been looking for a house for a year or two and they finally found the one they like.

Very nice.......... I was just in the South. I noticed that most people don't have a fenced in back yard. Here, everyone fences off their back yard for privacy. What do you guys do with your dogs during the day? What about if you want to have a pool?

okay, i know this is personal, but i kind of like the annoninimity of the board versus asking my friends who are all also friends with my husband.. my husband went out of the country with a group from work this weekend.
i was supposed to go but had to cancel due to other stuff.
it turned out only 4 ended up going, my husband, a guy, and two women.

it's been really inspiring looking at the many posts and threads on this board, and i've enjoyed posting quite a few myself.
regretfully, i feel that it's time to move on in my quest for inner peace, but i will always cherish meeting many friends along the way who support me.
i've had both bad times and good times here, but it was time well spent.

i went to the kingdom hall for the very last time.
i went in the door in my guns n roses t-shirt and ripped up lucky jeans, new earrings and goatee.
i went up to the po of the congregation and told him i needed to talk to him.
