Hebrews and Greek Scripture NWT

i would know more to check the hebrews scripture of nwt.

and i have found also 50 errors in the greek scripure of nwt.

i need more scripure - about 100 hebrews and 100 greek scriputres.

New Here...Am I Apostate???

im 25 years old and from the uk.

i havent attended the hall for a couple of years.

i looked into the jws online because i knew in my heart that the guilt they make you feel and the mass destruction they preach just isnt right.

Yeah, it hurts to be labeled. I've even been told by one person that I've "turned my back on God". I replied with "no, I've just turned my back on the Watchtower who are wrongly claiming to be Gods prophet! That comment has confirmed to me that you consider that anyone turning away from them is turning away from God. Thats wrong"

Anyway, I've just been out and bought a copy of the Guardian with the new article in it. I hope that this gets out more in the press because maybe those people who labelled me apostate will eat their words!

UN PO Spin

Im getting the impression that some communication about this whole thing has been given to the COs and even elders. The CO is visiting this week and told someone in my family that "its just not true" and suggested that the apostates had "put this information onto the UN website".

My point was if Apostates had done this, and had been talking about it all over the net to exjw and to jws alike, why (to my personal knowledge) has the WTS been on the UN website for *at least* 3 weeks? Surely the UN would remove this page thats so called been altered??

Anyway, I work for a computer company who host web sites etc. I asked other techies and although its possible to alter someones site, its very difficult. Its IMMENSELY difficult to try and hack the UN site! (so yeah, we should all believe JWs and reason that official government sites can be hacked and CHANGED?)

The only other possibility is that an apostate got a job writing the website for the UN. In which case, he / she is sacked! lol.

This whole accusation can be disproven with any individual's communication with the UN NGO department directly. Will they lie? Will the printed NGO list lie?

flash - major breaking!!!!!!!.

i just talked to paul hoeffel 1:35pm - he phoned me.. okay people.

i can now confirm that the watchtower has provided a letter in writing to dpi indicating that the wts has "disassociated" themselves from dpi - ie the wts has made it offical that they have quit.. i can also confirm that the wts has been updating dpi regularily as they are suppose to over the last 10 years.. i can also can say that something is in the works that i can disclose by hopeflly tomorrow.

Maybe they meant that they were getting fresh stock of the NGO list in print then. They just said that it would be 2 weeks for the availability of the "new" NGO list.

Is it LOVING to try and get JWs out?

does everyone here think it is loving of us to tell them all the things that the wts have done wrong?

First of all, let me make it clear that I have left the WTS, and I don't agree with its teachings (mostly, the organisation presented as "gods prophet").

I have a few family members who are JWs. Does everyone here think it is loving of us to tell them all the things that the WTS have done wrong? Once they realise that the WTS is corrupt, they experience

1. Complete loss of their faith, so much so that they dont know *who* to trust and may experience tremendous emotional pain and hurt at this discovery
2. Guilt at leaving despite what they know
3. Shunning from other JWs and family members
4. Possibly loss of employment if they worked with JWs

The list goes on...

I realise that it is not the person who reveals the corruption who is at fault in all of this, it is the WTS, who shouldnt be corrupt in the first place. However, I have a couple of family members who seem quite happy in their ignorance and who perhaps due to advancing age would very likely not be able to cope with the upheaval of leaving the borg. I find myself keeping quiet around them knowing that they are 'happy' (of a sort) and often not really interested in reasoning it all out again.

Dont you think that perhaps in some cases, its best to lay off certain individuals? I agree wholeheartedly with exposing the organisation as a whole, and those at the top. I just know how hard this has been for me (although I dont regret it). I also know someone else who simply couldnt cope with this loss in his faith and attempted suicide (and now is has bitter hate of ANY God).

What do you think, should we tell them or let them stay in their ignorant bliss?

Do you all know that there is a new NGO list being printed by the UN within the next 2 weeks?

Last night, I was told that the CO in our area had said simply that the rumour about the WT and UN connection was "not true". He insinuated that the *apostates* had altered the UN's official website!

In the wake of this, I phoned the UN myself, and I was told that there is a new NGO directory coming out in 2 weeks. How convenient for the WTS! They will be removed by then, and can refer to it when pulling the wool over the dubs eyes.

The CO has told my family that its "apostate" and "not true".

Considering that all he had was the official UN and Guardian documents, and hasnt checked it out, Im amazed he can be so sure its "not true".

Lets face it, anyone can contact the UN, and ask them for a copy of their NGO list.

Hi Koph,

I have been in exactly the same position as you, and I have managed to not get DF'd or DA'd.

Heres how I did it: Even though I was angry, hurt and amazed at the hypocrisy of the organisation, I realised that the Elders will not feel the same as me. They will judge you only for the fact that you have viewed apostate literature / websites and they will consider your mind is "twisted". Remember that point.

I did not feel ready to leave for good, so I told them

1. I *accidentally* came across the information on the net. I thought it was an *official* site at first.

2. I was upset and disturbed by it, and realise now that I may have over-reacted.

3. I want answers to the questions (thats why I've been asking) because I would like to be able to faithfully serve Jehovah again without these doubts.

You see, if you convince them that your motive is to serve Jehovah, and you listen humbly to their so called *answers* they will find it nearly impossible to DF you. They didnt DF me.

Im having a few problems at the moment because of the UN query, and its true that once they suspect you of apostacy they keep a close eye on you. I think that if you do what I've said, that will buy you some time until you feel you are ready to leave for good.

I understand how you are feeling, it hurts a lot to be branded a *lying apostate in the grip of the devil* just because you ask simple questions. They will not answer your questions satisfactorily, so you might aswell accept that fact and eat humble pie when they come to see you.

It really is good to be able to come here and express how I feel to people who have been through it.

I've been out for a couple of years like I said, and I have researched quite a lot. Its so difficult to keep this knowledge to yourself when you realise how corrupt the WTS is!

I dont attend, so maybe they'll leave me alone...if I attended I'd be more of a threat.

The word apostate is used by them to mean someone so evil (like you said mommy) and i cant believe Im branded as such for asking simple questions.

MAJOR UN/WTS/NGO NEWS - WTS IS GONE

as of 11:45 this morning (i had a telphone call this morning with the refernce department person named holly at 212-963-7234), i can tell you that the watchtower has disassociated itself from the united nations dpi!!!!!!.

the dpi is now taking them off the list.

the dpi requested the list removal to be done this morning!!!!!.
