They can call whatever they want but when you start grabbing cash from all the cong. And selling buildings etc.... it doesnt take a genius to see there is some kind of cash flow problem.... maybe its wishful thinking on my part.... no more org. means i can have a relationship with my family again!

We would love to have you back
by NVR2L8 inone of the businesses i cover is owned by jws and the father and 2 sons knew me as an active brother until 3 years ago when i told one of them i no longer attend the meeting.
today the father and one of the sons asked me if i was still inactive.
i told them it has been more than 5 years since i last been at a meeting.

jw is not bad religon if it changed some of its doctrines and thoughts.
if it didnt "shun" members and "worldly people.

Yes i was that poster.... been looking at a lot of religions and they are all messed up... i have some reason for wanting to be catholic though. i probably would have struck around jw if they would have changed some of there teachings.

If it got back to basics of the bible. Got rid of the mentality to not question anything by the GB. I think it could see a explosion in memebership! -

Funny the correlation of higher education and your eyes being opened to the craziness of the org. After i got my degree is when my eyes were opened.....i highly recommend getting a degree. If your thinking about it just do it and dont let anybody talk you out of it. I guarantee you will not regret it when you look back years later. My only regret is i didn't do it 10 years prior! -

Thanks for the replies!! Yes im glad i found the site... I understand all religion is bs and big business however i do think there is a spot for religion in some peoples lifes. Im just glad i took the big step and reprogrammed my brain from years of brainwashing many years ago from jw... i have many friends who are catholic and about to marry one.. i would like to raise my family in some religon as i see it good for morals.... however i would never get fanatical about religon again and take every thing with a grain of salt.. i have seriously thought about converting but feel like its a big step... -

happy holidays:)

i love celebrating holidays now... even though all my family wont be there:( hoping one day they will see the "light.
" maybe the " light will get brighter" and the jw will have a new understanding that everthing has pagan origins and its all about family on holidays.
