the 'heavy' is a large, imposing man with a booming voice and is a creature of the gb through and thru (eg only visited his dfd dad on his death bed because it was a 'good witness' to the hospital staff) and i'm feeling stressed about seeing him.
i so badly wanted to see my friend though, i agreed without thinking and now wish i hadn't have.

So, Whats the real reason JWs are no concessions open at the DC and are discouraged from supporting nearby vendors?
by BU2B inso ever since they discontinues the food service at the assemblies and dcs, jws have been "lovingly encouraged" to pack a light lunch to eat.
the secretary at the hall that i am held hostage in said during the service meeting that even a sub would be too heavy to eat, and that a light salad was the best option.
what do you fine people think is the real reason why, in the absence of food service, jws are told to not leave the building at lunch?

Selling food made money for the Watchtower. Once it went to A contribution the stingy brother where taking more food than they should and they started losing money on the whole deal. Their new light on food service is nothing more than greed. I think it also shows how little they care for the rank and file. Do you think the co, do and governing body are bringing coolers to the assemblies?

Agree mp the bible is well hard to follow. I think anything can be proven ah well unproven. Just depends on what scripture you want to use that day. The fact that a religion in this case jws have never been right on anything they ever predicted in 135 years shows how easily the masses can be lead to slaughter. Some in this day and age have evoled from 400 years ago the watchtower well not so much. They are an end times dooms day cult that has yet to grow up. The fact that 7 million people follow such bullshit is hard to fathom. People here say there days are over. Nope noda ain't going to happen. People want to believe, want to have hope. It is the best and worst of human nature that has taken place well since we evoled a brain that can think. I am saddened my mom will die without ever knowing my son and soon to be born child. It is what it is. I only hope I can save a few more free minds from the evils of the cult that is jehovahs witnesses. May the god I don't believe in have mercy on their souls.

Good point Las I will drive up before the meeting and ask "if this life all their is!" Honestly I wouldn't do it but isn't it just as rude to knock on a strangers door first thing in the morning. I think it would be fun to give them a piece of their own medicine.
