It seems he will follow it up...it's a cracking article.

Noah`s day Flood ? ( again) Waters Covering Active Volcanoes ?

i know their have been many posts dedicated to this subject already and i apologize if this aspect has been handled before.. apart from the many other absurdities relating to the flood of noah`s day being literal as jehovah`s witnesses believe and already thrashed out here by the many posts previous.. i was wondering if this aspect has been considered that the waters would have had to cover over active volcanoes with what result ?.

their are a number of" active and resting" volcanoes at any one time around the earth and i`m just wondering if anyone more knowledgeable than me about the subject would like to weigh in and give their 2 cents worth in what effect a global flood covering volcanoes would have ?.

i am aware their are fissures in the deep oceans where volcanic activity occurs ,but is this the same ?.

Doesn't mention volcano's but mentions a fair amount on the geological impact of a "flood".

i wondered about that when i heard garret loesch state that shortly before the tribulation the governing body would be taken up.

if this is the case, it seems like garret and the other seven would be there just in time to help out in the killing of billions.. i thought they used to say that some would survive armageddon before they were taken up..

one of the questions that seem to trouble the governing body of the jehovah's witnesses in recent year is this: what will jehovah's witnesses be doing during the destruction of babylon the great?

The interior rooms were never physical...the society said in a 98 WT that they denote the inner room of each congregation...then they added if there is anything else to this prophecy then it will be revealed at a later date.

They have never said it is KH...in fact they have said the opposite in that it is not a physical location.

WT rules about forgiving a cheating spouse

does anyone else think it’s weird and controlling the organization says if your mate commits adultry, and then you have sex with them, you are not free to remarry again, since this means you forgave them.

the bible never mentions anything about this.

it’s so weird they have a say about what goes on behind closed doors of two people who are still legally married.

I attended my 2nd exjw meetup and it was brilliant

i decided to attend my 2nd scottish exjw meetup and what a blast.

so many experiences.

it was incredibly engaging to actually meet people in the flesh and hearing their personal stories.. the damage the watchtower organisation causes to peoples lives is absolutely disgusting.

Where was this held in Scotland? How many were there? I would love to go next time, I was unaware of any meetups of exjws in Scotland.

this includes discussion around his personality, motives and financial gains.

i have written a foreword for this book, because it is an important topic that has not been covered in such a complete format before.

Which is why I am rather disappointed with Paul at JWFacts.com for posting this thread.

Lloyd has a right go at the WT, the GB, other ex-jws etc yet you make remarks, comments, constructive criticism about Lloyd and he takes it personally...he can't take what he dishes out...

I don't believe for one minute he earns "far less" in his activism as myself and others have pointed out what is publically available and hence why I suggest the reasons why he has to produce content and new books is because of money, because activism is his income.

I too have told Lloyd that his site and his articles prior to his "coming out" as an apostate, as in prior to him DA himself that they were balanced, neutral, factual and highly effective....just like JWFacts.com.

But as soon as he DA himself then the focus of his channel was himself and not the content and in that he has lost an opportunity to get people "still on the fence" out of the WT...all the people who have come out since he showed himself on his videos were on there way out anyway otherwise they wouldn't watch his videos because now most would view them as apostate whilst prior to his DA they were balanced to the point you could watch them whilst still in.

Fair enough he changed his direction but he made it about himself...how many exjw's has he put off because of that? How many possible exjws who are still in are put off?

I did not want to make this thread about money, but discussions over financial motives regularly pops up, and they are an ad hominem attack that are not accurate and should not have any relevance to the effectiveness of the work being achieved.

I'm not "attacking him"...why do you think that is the case?

The point is all these threads exist because he is releasing a new book...he has to because he needs to generate income...it is a factor as to why he does...maybe not the biggest factor but one still the less.

Mentioning that a full time activist has to generate income to fund his "career" is not "attacking"...it is simply pointing out the fact as to why he has to release new content...because it is his income.

Paul...I'm disappointed in you...you are the author of a non-bias, neutral, amazingly resourceful website yet you you seem very defensive in this subject...the fact is you are not neutral when it comes to Lloyd...you have appeared in a recent video interview and now a foreword in his book..and now you post active threads about it on here.

This is not the neutral sensible Paul that we know.

Whether you like it or not Lloyd has many people in the exjw community who have issues with him due to previous dealings, personality, egocentrc behaviour etc.

As I've said the mature approach is to see the past the man and look at the content and either enjoy or dismiss without overly attacking the man.

I enjoy some of his content, I ignore others...I give my opinion when asked such as threads like these which I have a right to do but still I will promote good content even if the man presenting it has fundamental flaws.

But you recent overly need to defend this is rather disappointing.

Not every point made is an "attack"...when someone puts themselves forward in any light you are always going to get constructive criticism and just plain criticism...deal with it...as Lloyd does.

For the record I like most of Lloyds content, I point others to it, I have told Lloyd that his self-confessed mental issues (depression) that he suffers means his work and what he has had to put up with makes what he has done amazing...and I applaud that.

Yet he has made mistakes and has an attitude in some areas that do not help his cause and make people turn off him.

But even so...enjoy the content...forget the man.
