Tennis Controversy in Australia
by smiddy3 inapr 20, 2020. novak djokovic sparks a backlash after publicly opposing the covid-19 vaccine.
he says: “personally, i am opposed to vaccination, and i wouldn’t want to be forced by someone to take a vaccine in order to be able to travel.”.
asked by sky news australia anchor danica de giorgio why djokovic was granted the visa in the first place, the home affairs minister said: “they’re entirely separate processes”.. “to gain entry to australia you need both – you actually need the visa, which is determined quite separately, and then you have to meet the entry requirements,” she said.. “i know that people are putting the two issues together, but the visa application process and the granting of a visa is very separate to the additional entry requirements that every traveller needs to meet to be able to enter australia.”.

The issue isn't really whether he has or has not had the vaccine.
The issue is he filled out the forms incorrectly and refuses to say why he is exempt, this seemingly shows a level or arrogance in that it would be accepted by the authorities because is the defending champion.
The fact he announced on Twitter he was arriving before due process again seemingly shows a level of arrogance.
I think the Australian government are far more pissed at this seemingly level of arrogance rather than whether he is vaccinated or not.
If countries have strict rules during COVID and you want to go in there you simply must abide by them, he seemingly has not but the LTA say it's ok because he is a superstar of the sport.
Alanah Pearce detailed her troubles getting in and out of Australia during COVID as she is a games journalist and her story was pretty brutal.
So for me personally Novak is wrong here, abide by the rules if you want to play in the country, if you are exempt then fill out the paperwork required advising so.
It really is that simple.

Poor Llyod
by notsurewheretogo inlook...i've had my beef with lloyd aka cedars and some of the stuff he says or does but equally i respect what he is trying to do and what he has achieved in terms of waking people up.. he intimated he had mental health issues years ago but his video today is brutal...i see pain in his eyes and he is suffering.
his family come first and the man needs to heal.. yes he has issues that many on here see but its not the man that is important but his work.. but the man needs time to heal mentally and i wish he does so.
he deserves that despite the feelings and things that have happened in the past with the exjw community.. he has done so much for the exjw community in general that i hope all give him a little clack and he returns.. if any of us did what he did we may be in the same boat but none of us do...see past the man and see his work but equally the man is suffering and it is pretty sad...i hope he gets better soon.

2021 Service Report

If they kept everyone in then the 171,000 baptised would be a 2% rise...thus 0.7% rise means they lost 112,000 people.
How many of those baptised are not children? That, I presume, will be the majority of the number thus they are self-sustaining at the moment but not many are coming in from outside.

The Watchtower—Study Edition | February 2022 Trust in Jehovah ...We really meant ''the Governing Body''
by RULES & REGULATIONS inthe watchtower—study edition | february 2022. study article 6. do you trust in jehovah’s way of doing things?.
15 as the end of this system of things draws near, we need to trust in jehovah’s way of doing things as never before.
during the great tribulation, we may receive instructions that seem strange, impractical, or illogical.

2017 - WT: The GB is neither inspired or infallible and can err in doctrine and organisational matters.
2021 - WT: You must be obedient to the GB, who can err in organisational direction, when they give out organisational direction that appears illogical, strange or impracticable.
So how does one know if said direction that is strange, impractical and illogical is correct if they can be wrong?
The 2013 WT (obey even if not sound from a human standpoint) and the 2021 WT (obey even if illogical, impracticable and strange) cannot be married up with the 2017 WT that advised they can be wrong.
You cannot solve this equation.

The Watchtower—Study Edition | December 2021
by RULES & REGULATIONS instudy article 50. listen to the voice of the fine shepherd.
9 consider an experience that illustrates how jehovah can care for our material needs.
a couple in full-time service drove over an hour in their old car to pick up some sisters living at a refugee center and take them to a christian meeting.

The Great Jehoover can supply shopping bags or KH materials miraculously yet sisters who get raped or killed are seemingly not on his radar.

When it comes to "we must be ready to obey whether....it
by nowwhat? ini believe the the organization will tell it's members to sign over their mortgages and savings to the organization.
because of the impending fall of the financial institutions and the organization is the only place where it will be safe.
this has to be the only scenario possible because obviously they won't do a jonestown and where could 8 million flee to?
-
notsurewheretogo
I think the recent encouragement in the latest WT to be obedient whether it appears strange, impractical or illogical has nothing to do with KH or money.
I think they, the GB 2.0, believe the end is very close and there will need to be some sort of physical activity required like fleeing.
My PIMI wife is going on about the "go-bag" that she needs. I can imagine the scene where tensions arise between the UK and Russia to the point there is conflict and all families will be told to flee as the GT is here etc.
I think the GB are holding off doctrinal changes that are obviously required before they lose anymore people at a faster rate like the 144,000...607 BCE, 1914 etc but they are holding off due to the GT being so close in their minds.
But the reality is the GT will not come and they will have to change doctrines and might that be the illogical or strange or impractical things they mention?
Like cut yourself off from the internet?
Whilst they are money orientated I don't envisage this batshit crazy new WT stuff to be a driver to sell KH's.
