Is your Bible Free of Bias?
by Wonderment inis your bible free of bias?william d. barrick, professor of old testament wrote in 2001: “biblically based theology has no choice but to be wedded to bible translation.
one’s theology is heavily dependent upon one’s understanding of scripture in translation, whether it is one’s own or that of a published version.
on the other side of the coin, bible translation is inextricably linked with theology.

What is the current pulse in the organization with the reductions?
by SouthCentral ini have not seen jehovah’s witnesses in my neighborhood for several years now.
it appears that the cart witnessing has taken over.
congregations are being consolidated and witnesses are being forced to travel a greater distance than before.the burdens/privileges of elders seem to be ever increasing!.

Anyone else do this?
by Biahi ini used a public washroom in a grocery store.
in the stall, someone left a tract on the baby changer.
my first thought was to trash it, instead i wrote cult on it and jwfacts.com on it.

I did it cuz I was expected to, and I was in love with this JW girl in my hall who was part of an uber JW family. (hope for P#ssy rules I guess)
I did feel it was the "truth" but I was mostly motivated by the hopes of getting a girl honestly.
I put it off till I was 18, and couldn't push it longer. To many questions, and all my friends were JWs. My highschool friends were leaving for college. -

Paradise Earth
by Jeff1 injust recently i was looking at a topic on jwfacts entitled 'paradise on earth forever.
' from the research paul did on this topic he mentioned that there is no biblical evidence of an earthly resurrection.
i haven't heard this before but wanted to get some thoughts on this topic.

The WTS has said that one reason not to believe the trinity is that the word itself does not occur in the bible.
Funny how they don't use the same rule for Governing Body :)

Are You Horrifed if Someone Goes Into a “Massage Parlor”?
by minimus inyesterday, robert kraft, the owner of the new england patriots, got busted for getting a massage and more.
they say there is another more high profile person who also got busted.. does this stuff upset you that some men have gone into a massage parlor for possibly more than a massage?
?.

Robert Kraft likely has dozens of women throwing themselves at him everyday.
What evidence is there of that?
Personally what a person does with their own time, as long as it is not harming another person is their own business, and doesn't bother me.
I think that's the point, if the girls are forced to work their as slaves then you are harming someone.
But I agree - though its an anathema to evangelical republicans - consenting adults should be able to do anything they want as long as it does not harm others. (their god, like jehober, cares more about where someones dick or tongue is, than helping people living in poverty, or horror.) Of course I am a liberal, so the whole "life liberty" thing has a lot of meaning to me, as it does to I am sure most of you.
If you could take the crime aspect out of it (like in the Netherlands) it's insane that prostitution is not legal.
