Even if you live in a part of the world that doesn't get Dateline, I have a TV card in my pc and plan on saving it and putting it in Divx format.

we had our local needs part on this tonight!
it was truly an excellent part, he literally made me cry it was so touching...i won't name the whole list he named, but he gave different examples of zeal...it isn't just going out in service, it means much more..here are some of the points he brought out..... 1.zeal is the older sister who despite her chronic illnesses which keep her feeling her worst, is never missing from the meeting, even though she might be more comfortable at home.. 2. zeal is the young child who has the courage to go up to the watchtower study conductor and ask to called on in a specific paragraph, and raises his hand anyway even though he knows the comment is already his or hers.. 3. zeal is the old couple in the hall whose only means of living is social security, but yet they always find something to give jehovah during each month.. 4. zeal is the single publisher or pioneer servant, who is drained of energy from working, but who is always in service no matter how tired they are.. those are just a few of the ones he mentioned.. can you give some examples of what zeal is?
i think this is a great subject!
Zeal is saving for your child's college, but then at the last minute deciding to donate it to the organization.

i am due in the middle of october and my husband and i cannot come up with a name.
i almost had him sold on venus, until he asked people at work what they thought and he got wierd looks.
i wanted to name the last baby sidney, but let him name her because he has never gotten a chance to name a kid before.
My youngest son's name is Ashton Lee, but if he were a girl, we were going to name her Ashtyn Leigh.

i look back on the 1970s with a sense of loss and nostalgia.
i was a young man, just married, and so much in love with my beautiful wife.
i had just started my engineering career, and was debt free.
I think about those same questions all of the time. I've experienced so much in just my short 29 years of life. I had that discussion with my JW father about a week ago. Even he agreeded that in my 29 years, I've seen and experienced more than he has in his life.
More than half of those experiences have need negative ones. I sometimes wish that I could go back and change decisions that I made. But in all honesty, I really like who I am today. I know that all of the negative things in life that I have gone through have made me who I am today. These learning experiences have made me a little wiser than I believe I would be, had I not endured them.
As someone that was raised a witness, I never really knew anything else. Now, after seeing the truth about what I once believed, I feel that I am a little more cautious in life. Because of what I have gone through, I examine things with so much more scrutiny, than before.
I think that as long as we actually learn something from our experiences and mistakes in life, then they weren't really mistakes. The mistakes that I have made, have molded and shaped me into what I am today.

3. you dont ask me to partake of "privleges" that involve a microphone on a stick.... 4. you all know what i'm going through and dont give me odd looks like im a bad person.... 5. i feel actuall love here...
I'm sure that most here DO care if you do recreational pharmacuticals. However, I know you well enough to know that you are going to do that stuff anyway so I would rather be present to keep an eye on you.

i thought it might be interesting to see how many here remember where and when they were baptised into the borg.
for some the memory may be too painful, but i'm curious.. me.
it was 1966 in vancouver, bc.
LOL Tatiana, I really wouldn't be surprised!

I've only been to the Salisbury assembly hall twice. Once right after it was built, and once after I was d'fd. I think that the last time I was there was in 95. I may have been there when Lilacs was dunked.
I rememebr coming home from that convention SO ready to be reinstated. I wrote my letter to the elders the night I got home.
