  What to be for Holloween

  two years ago i was an angel, last year a cat.

  i am working that day so i need to be "modest".

  yes they let us dress up it's kind of fun.

  in talking to sparky the elder today (http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/friends/263862/1/an-elder-called-me-hes-waking-up-and-knew-id-understand-nice-for-him-to-have-a-friend) i found out he did the accounts for our congregation for years.

  he said very rarely did the congregation meet its expenses without some well-off brother chipping in a few grand here and there.

  the elders would also make up the shortfall.

  Annual Meeting : where is yours?

  if the original announcement still hold for this weekends 'open' annual meeting, it will be streamed live to (only) english speaking members.

  is this still the plan?.

  i'm interested in hearing from all on the forum where 'their' program will be broadcast.. our local kingdom hall will be live streaming the meeting.. .

  Its at our assembly hall where I live (US). Everyone invited (not just baptized in good standing). No ticket required.

  Head coverings yet again in the latest KM

  my husband just gave me the latest km the novermber 2013 and it yet again has a question box on head coverings.. question box "should a female publisher wear a head covering if she is accompanied by a male pubisher at a doorstep bible study?".

  it says "when a female publisher conducts a reagular, scheduled bible study and a male kingdom publisher is present, she should wear a head covering.

  (1 cor 11: 3-10) the july 15 2002, issue of the watchtower page 27, explains: "this is a prearranged session of teaching where the one conducting the the study actually presides.

  Yes, declassed 143,992 woman and men from their most deeply held spiritual belief and wedged themselves in between the relationship of millions of people with their god...and then, all but called themselves the evil slave, hypothetically ("wink, wink").

  and then went home laughing their asses off.

  And then probably enjoyed a nice chianti(sp?) with some fava beans.
