at the close of the year, i reflect on what hasoccurred and what i hope to occur.
despite the various speculations regarding the wealth or lack thereof of the cult that unfortunately impacts us all to various degrees, we can all see clearly a downward trend.
At the close of the year, i reflect on what hasoccurred and what i hope to occur. Despite the various speculations regarding the wealth or lack thereof of the cult that unfortunately impacts us all to various degrees, we can all see clearly a downward trend. I raise my glass to this (invite you all to do the same).
We've all seen things we priviously thought unimaginable with the borg in the last year alone. They have parodied themselves much better than we could have. And embarrassed themselves much better than we vould have (again raises glass).
This leaves me with much hope at the close of 2015. I hope (dare i say predict) that one day we will berecognized no as "appostates" in the watchtower sense, but more realistically as ex-witnesses.
You tubers have done somuch toenlighten and spark empathy in people on a variety of issues, including religious abuse. So many silent ones out there feel the same way but cannot yet say anything. One day, the damn will burst.
So big toast from me (one who cannot yet go public) to all those who have thrown themselves onthe frontline. You dont even know how much you have done and will do.
so today's study is all about being kindly, and not judgemental to those in the congregation....we don't know their circumstances etc.... i can't believe the hypocrisy being spewed out...both in the article and by means of the answers from the audience!.
we know the reality is so different!
unless a witness does everything exactly as the gb directs...in every aspects of life, they are effectively no longer a good person, but are viewed as spiritually lacking or weak..... they are going directly beyond the biblical directives, and being ones who condemn, rather than ones who commend!.

This article in complete bulls**t. It is not because we "needed a smaller facility". The congregations were informed that would sell because that was what headquarters decided.
This sale displaces 8 congregations (it was a 4 plex KH with 2 congregations per hall). Its a s**t storm right now.
Critics-you dont have to love every single persons style of making videos. You are welcome to your own opinion. Hell, youre welcome to make your own videos. Mike and Kim are free to create yheir videos as they see fit. Moreover they actually ARE helping people not just with their videos but individually. They are dedicating a hell of a lot of their own time to the cause. They deserve serious props for that.
I agree that thecomment on drinking was waaaaay out of line. Theyve never been even buzzed in a video (most of the time theyre drinking tea). A drink? One? Really?!?! Remember waaay back in the day, in the congregation, when we had to watch our backs and walk on eggshells constantly so as not to "stumble someone".................(heavy sigh).
now that enough time has passed and i've moved away, i think i'm overdue to share some of the stories from my fade.
i've mentioned some of this before, but i think it deserves its own thread.. we all would like to be able to freely ask questions about jw beliefs and get our family and friends to really think about certain questions.
however, when you're a baptized jw, you really can't ask any good questions or you'll get the "apostate" label slapped on you!
Ive wondered this same question just about every day. How did this small, unremarkable, fringe, up-start dooms day group survive the rise to mediocrety to blossom into the half wit, cult/real estate pyramid scheme monstrosity we see before us today, rising like an inbred irrational pheonix from the ashes.
It would make a fantastic documentary. Ray Publisher, are you listening?
Its fun to fantasize about. I imagine them simply refusing to disclose because they actually dont have to...and then everyone simply leaves the borg having been awakened....ahhh, fantasies.
In reality, none of the RnF care, "everything belongs to Jehovah anyway"
Whoops! Meant to say hi and be all friendly but apparently hitting enter after finishing your title will just post the thing with nothing in the body. My bad.
