CoC is a lifechanging book for any exJW. I put it off for years and when I finally decided to read it, I couldn't put it down. 3 days later I was finished with the book and completely finished with this stupid "religion".

I am sitting here eating...

i went into a very posh gourmet chocolate shop today, and feeling cheap got the cheapest chocolate in the shop.

time and again i will get together with xjws and they still refer for instance to being a jw as being in the truth.. .
i've talked to people who have been out 2 or 5 or even 10 yrs and they still refer to it as that in their conversations... .

I was posting on another board yesterday *achewkents* sniff, and found out about and visited www.jwconnections.com for some hot JW dating action. Well let me just say that two of the sisters in Austria were smoking hot. One of them could have been a model. I couldn't seem to access www.jwconnections.com later that evening and evidently nobody else could either. hehehe

Anyway, are their any JW sites around anymore? I haven't really been paying attention since purelanguage.com, greatcrowd.com, jwzone.com and others I can't think of went belly up. I give them all about 6 months before they get destroyed one way or the other.

This site has been the most incredible help to me-UNTIL TODAY
by ohiocowboy inreading through some of the recent posts, ie; the topic of lazarus and the gay issue, i was flabbergasted at what i was reading.
i can't believe-well maybe i can, that some people on this site are calling gay people "faggots", and telling that person that they are going to get "what sodom and gomorrah got".. this site has been a godsend to me, and have been telling my friends how nice it is to be in with a group of people who can relate to my life, my feelings, my insecurities, and my fears relating to the org.
and not being a part of it anymore.

I stopped posting on this board because of one person who got under my skin. (that rarely happens...but, it did here) That person had no idea how he made me feel by his comments and attitude, and I'm sure he could care less. I was the one who lost out because I cared what someone else (a stranger at that) thought of me.
It's nice to see your smoldering self on the board again too. I hope it wasn't me.

I haven't call it the "troof" for a long time now. At best, I call it "the organization". I also like "The Society" especially now that they've changed their names to the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Of course, they changed that on purpose and it won't be long until they can identify us apostates by the term "society". Oh well.
