  I agree with people calling for a definition. With that said, it's hard to argue this country wasn't founded on racism (founded, past tense) when our early history includes genociding Native Americans and using Africans as slaves. Let's be real here.

  I'm not ashamed to be white. That said, there are too many white people in this country who look down on people who don't look like them. Trump made that problem worse, but it was already here.

  Jehovah's Witnesses are not extremists, they're certainly not militant, and they're no active threat to anyone. That doesn't mean that some of their beliefs or practices don't cause serious harm to people, especially the Governing Body's ban on blood transfusions.

  much discussion now about the fallout that is coming due to impacts of the pandemic combined with the long-term downward spiral of jw.org.

  i am active as a pimo and my wife is pimi....much of our personal conversation and conversation with others in jw land focuses on how things will play out for jw.org in the next 12-24 months.

  They'll go right back to what they were doing when this thing ends, as sure as they're sure they won't be sued. It's too difficult to keep people connected and motivated if they aren't interacting with each other.

  Good luck asking more than one of those questions to a JW :P They'll turn tail and run, or try to turn the tables on you ("How do you know so much about us?")

  what is the craziest thing you heard a witness say was demonized, and what did they do about it?.

  I was told by "apostate" protesters in Upstate New York that Witnesses feared the very seats they sat in were demonized.
