Man that ship's been sailing fine for like 150 years, what do they mean sinking? The only thing I see sinking is attendance and donations.

"by their fruits you will know them."
by stillin inyou would think that the adherents of the world's only true religion would also be the best people in the world.
the witnesses use the words "cultivate godly qualities" like a mantra, over and over.
the believers feel that their attendance at meetings and their field service put them in line to gain god's favor as exceptional people.. the problem is that they aren't.

by minimus inafter seeing the atrocity in new zealand, do you think white nationalism is a major issue affecting you or where you live?.
somebody already called out chelseaclinton, blaming her for the attack!

Qualifying For A Kingdom Hall Funeral
by minimus inone of the most despicable things i can remember is having the elders determining whether or not you “qualified” for proper funeral services in a kingdom hall and if the talk could be given by an elder.
people are hurting terribly and the family is then told, even though the deceased was a member of the congregation, they still weren’t good enough to qualify for proper burial services per the congregation!

It's shameful to trot out the dead to convert their mourning friends and family. It's despicable beyond belief.

Yes, it's a major issue. Couldn't be more obvious by now.

Minimus, watch this, you'll see Jackson's sick moves and get a good laugh in the process:

Might even get to dance with Geoffrey Jackson, that man can get down... shame he can't tell the truth.

I still want to go to a funeral sometime at a Kingdom Hall but I'm afraid I'm going to get mad when they turn the whole thing into an infomercial. Remember guys, follow the outline and 'do not eulogize the deceased, but give a fine witness to Jehovah.'

You just feel like chatting tonight, Catcher in the Rye? I'm doing alright, drawing a little, working on a paper.

Climate Change - True Believer or Skeptic?
by Simon inclimate change ... who doesn't believe it?
crazy fools and science deniers ... right?.
it seems like it's become the new religion, the new orthodoxy, that must be accepted and believed as gospel and preached to all.. is it ok to be skeptical?.

You and me don't disagree on that Simon, the rich hardly ever pay for their mistakes because the rich run everything, the government, the courts, even the environmental agencies. It's not a matter of whether they believe it or not, it's a matter of whether they intend to do anything about it. I'm with you on that, they don't care, but they want the rest of us to care because then they don't have to foot the bill.
