most of my friends have gotten the vaccines and are quite confident that it’s just what the doctor ordered.

i’m not confident with dr. fauci.

i don’t like the fact that the makers of the vaccines are not held responsible if someone taking the vac develops an illness or even death.

All I know is I'm going to get a vaccine to be safe. I'm scheduled for next month.

in perusing this site i see info re if publishers are going back to the halls after the covid is "in control".

some comments are that numbers are dropping - not here... more connected than were actually going to the halls.

They ought to be prosecuted, I agree with you. It's bullshit if people are destroying someone else's property without being held accountable.

No need to make this personal man ("I don't know what's wrong with you"). We're just having a conversation, and I usually appreciate your perspective. I still do. Let's leave it at that.

The damage is done no matter what, we're on the same page about that. I'm not arguing for clemency.

I stand by what I said. I think people are more complicated then they've been cast in this thread. I'm not excusing looting or violence after a shooting. I'm only trying to say we can't paint rioters with a broad brush. That's all. Their motivations are probably more complex, which does not change the damage they do.

People get angry and they don't know how else to express it. That's my interpretation of why people sometimes loot after a minority is shot.

Is it a great outlet for anger? No, it accomplishes nothing. Does it make sense? Yeah, unfortunately. They probably want to go after whoever shot another minority in cold blood and can't.
