  That's a little idealistic. Laws cannot be openly racist any more. That doesn't mean they can't be covertly racist.

  I agree with people calling for a definition. With that said, it's hard to argue this country wasn't founded on racism (founded, past tense) when our early history includes genociding Native Americans and using Africans as slaves. Let's be real here.

  I'm not ashamed to be white. That said, there are too many white people in this country who look down on people who don't look like them. Trump made that problem worse, but it was already here.
