I disagree completely that racism is on life support. Trump and his supporters have made things much worse than they used to be. Racists are emboldened and are more open in acts of racism (e.g., spraypainting swastikas, attacking Asians on the street, throwing around hateful slurs).

It's a great forgetfulness. Years and years of anticipation that go nowhere. At what point do you fold your hand and say, "I'm out, enough." I guess most JWs have too much in the game already to do that.

I want the police defunded and I live a peaceful, orderly life. I don't want to burn buildings down. Minimus, you're overgeneralizing a little and you've been doing that in this thread. Police brutality against non-whites continues to be a serious problem which needs addressing. By far, not every police shooting of a minority involves the minority attacking police.
