The awful treatment of my disfellowshipped cousin still continues
by RULES & REGULATIONS inmy cousin was disfellowshipped twenty years ago when he was 18 years old.
he admitted to the congregation elders that he was fornicating with his ''wordly'' girlfriend.
the elders were following him and hiding in their cars to see what he was up to.

Rules snd Reg
Hands up......right up and waving.
It was ME!!!
So you think that I should be burnt in hell too and for people to queue up and watch me burn??
I have lost my entire family due to this obscene cult so don't try and lecture me on the damage and hurt disfelowshipping does.
It was his ridiculous burning in hell rant I was negging, not his thoughts about the org.
(rules and regs has deleted his post? Asking about who negged the post about burning in hell....just to repeat...it was me. He then suggested that I deserve the same treatment as the org. sick)

There is no hell.
This sort of moronic ranting about burning in hell and gleefully watching people getting punished is everything that is wrong with religious zealots and their like.
It sounds as insane as the org themselves.

Unspeakable arrogance - As Usual
by Slidin Fast intoday's wt para 1. if you are a young person, you have likely received much advice about your future.
teachers, guidance counselors, or others may have encouraged you to pursue higher education and a lucrative career.
jehovah, however, advises you to take a different course.

My biggest regret ...not being able to go to university.
Also teachers BEGGEd me to allow my children to pursue a further education but I said no based on what I was taught and believed at the time.
I feel so bitter and angry now.
My only skill now?
I am only good at cleaning windows.
They have a lot to answer for.

Live streaming of BBC expose' being blocked on the internet.
by The Fall Guy init looks like someone doesn't want this video to be shown.
the stream was allowed to show what can be seen here, but was then abruptly halted.

I don't like his message or the racist undertones BUT the more they try to suppress him and censor him the bigger and more angrier his following will get.
They are growing, getting more vocal, more powerful and much more demonstrative than the main stream party supporters.
They would be better to give him an equal platform for proper debate so people can make up their own minds about what he has to say.
As the quote goes, "I hate what you have to say, but I defend to the death your right to say it".

Disfellowshipped & Returning
by tartan4588 ini am disfellowshipped and have been going back for well over a year now but because its not my 1st time it will be a bit longer before i will write my letter, would really love to find others in my area who are in the same situation as some many know its very isolating, not mixing with worldly people and not being allowed to be with family and friends can take its toll on a person, just wondering if there is anyone in perth wa that would like to get together for a coffee, movie ect .

You obviously have your own reasons why you are putting yourself though this (family relatives still witnesses etc) but to be honest, if you are on THIS site and you want to meet up with fellow disfellowshipped people then your heart really isn't in it AND there is no way they would reinstate you if they knew.
Think very seriously about your reasons for going back and putting yourself through this charade (TWICE!).
Is this double life really the one that you want to live?
If you truly believed it all and wanted to do everything the JW way I would let you get on with it, but you obviously don't want to be fully committed to their teachings.
Right now you are free. Do a list of pros and cons and see if you really want to go through this again.
You will be back in no mans land again. Not truly belonging there with them or with the rest of civilisation on the outside of the org.
IF you truly believed what they taught, you would know that come 'armageddon' you would be killed anyway and would not have 'holy spirit". I don't know why you would voluntarily want to make this half-baked return to go back.
I am not judging....but trying to give you a virtual shake and get you to look at what you are doing.

Never in my wildest dream would I ever see one of those dog gone carts
by Tameria2001 ini moved to where i'm currently living for 10 years now.
once in a while, i would have jws come to my door and every single time either i or my husband would send them on their merry way, although my husband is quite rude about it.
i'm not sure when the cart witnessing (or whatever it is called) started up, but the only time i ever heard about it was on the internet, or someone here talking about it.

To me, it shows that they (the ones on the cart) really don't believe armageddon is coming any time soon.
If they truly believed it how could they just stand there passively knowing that nearly all of the people walking passed them are going to be killed within the foreseeable future. Surely they should be trying harder and not hiding behind a cart looking at their phones or drinking coffee.
At best is shows a complacence and at worst it is sheer arrogance and shows that they absolutely do not care about people at all.
IF this is supposed to be Gods way of warning people that he is going to bring destruction on the planet, it is a despicable, lazy way of doing it.
"Jehovah' is no better. He would know (if he was real) that people are more cynical than ever and already have information overload. Does he REALLY think that people invisiblly hiding behind a cart is the most effective way of saving lives?
They make me sick with their piousness.

I can't watch these.
Although I dismiss it all, the same old 'what if they are right?" feelings sneak in after I hear their scaremongering. It churns up the same panic and fear as I used to feel.
That is what being five decades as a JW does to you before you finally escape.

JW jailed for £8million investment fraud - UK
by OrphanCrow inhttp://m.thenorthernecho.co.uk/news/14276665.victims__brainwashed__in___8m_investment_scam/he told investors that his status as a jehovah’s witness meant he was unable to break the law, in an effort to win their trust.. teesside crown court heard how many of the 350 victims were elderly and had been deliberately targeted.some had since died with the stress of the county durham-based fraud having contributed to their ill health, and others had lost homes and life savings.a third man the crown said was involved, anthony kemp, is currently serving a prison sentence in new zealand for a separate but similar fraud, but is expected to be extradited back to the uk to stand trial when he is released.. .

Kemp (Tony) was always dodgy.
Neighbours used to report him for working on his car and doing other manual jobs while claiming thousands on benefits for years.
He used to arrive at the KH wearing a neck collar and in a wheelchair or with crutches but then would be sailing or mountaineering on the weekend.
He eventually abandoned his family. Went away for a 'few days' and never came back. They did not have a clue where he was and his wife and son (who was a bit autistic) had to live in a travellodge for months with no money or food (no practical help from congregation of course!!!)
Young Wheeler....He used to run a sun bed business. There were rumours about him but nothing concrete. He was always on the fringe...never quite fully in or committed to Witnesses.
I used to hate it when people used to use the "I am a JW and could never commit a crime" when they got caught. But now I think it is funny. A local postman used the same excuse when they found hundred of opened birthday cards in his locker (he had been opening them and stealing the money inside).
