LMsA: Lloyd has an interesting bedside manner in wooing back the wife who just dropped the news she wanted to divorce him.
He doesn't ever display empathy. In his letter to her, he is cold and technical. He even describes how he 'debunked' one of her letters. He doesn't see it as an attempt at reaching an understanding with her, he appears to see it as a business negotiation or a game of some kind. If he can 'debunk' enough of her claims and arguments, he stands to get a better deal. She's just another random person on the other side of the table, and his goal is to defeat her.

Predict JW life in future
by ExBethelitenowPIMA ina sister said the other day at the ministry group “”what is all this talk that the end is still some way off” she said she has been waiting for decades and she was told there is no way it would take this long.
some others said in an annoyed kind of way yes they would have made different decisions decades ago if they knew the end still would not have come by 2023.. how will the majority react in a few more decades time when the end still hasn’t come?.
why all that talk of sense of urgency decades ago?.

EBNP: If you believe in evolution there is no possible hope at all everything is pointless and without purpose.
Many people who believe in god also believe that evolution accurately accounts for the diversity of life. I assume you are referring to abiogenesis, the concept that life began without the intervention of a divine being.
My life has purpose and a point to me. To a lesser extent, it has meaning to those who know me and care about me. If my life stops having purpose and meaning to anyone in a million years, that's not something that keeps me awake at night. Being dead makes the whole thing academic. But until that time, I live a life with purpose and meaning. Whether there is a god or not.

Him saying he has better things to do is his way of demanding that you stop responding. We always want to have the last word in any contentious discussion, but he is pathological about it. Like his penis, he is unable to control his compulsion to always have the last word.

Christmas Decorations at the Kingdom hall
by Simon ini can't remember if i've told this story before .... but back in the day, in irlam congregation (northwest england, uk, cheshire #1 circuit i think) we used to rent a kingdom hall for many years before we eventually built our own.. preston hall.
ah, the memories .... it was primarily used as a community hall for old folks, but we had it friday night and sunday morning.. there was a loft and fold-out ladder and we used to store the chairs up their.
every meeting, there would be an assembly line of all the "lads" to pass the chairs down and set them up, then collect them up and pass them back up at the end of the meeting.

Chevelle: In the 70s and 80s, we had our circuit assemblies in a Jewish Synagogue in New York City.
In Manhattan, right? I went to that one a bunch of times for two-day weekend conventions.
As for a fancy-looking KH, I missed out. The ones I went to were quite basic in design and decoration. Fully functional and had all of the necessary accommodations and features, but the layout was very simple and the colors were mostly earth-tones and wood paneling. It was drab and lifeless. No wonder meetings seemed so interminable.

Taking after Lett... more money going out than coming in. "Things are bad" in Lloyd Land
by iloowy.goowy inlloyd published a video, "things are bad," pretty much along the lines of lett's appeal for more money.. he'll have to let go tbo who does his editing, if he doesn't get more sponsor money.
he even mentions dijana.
he claims the defamation has hurt his family.. but he says the defamation suits are still ongoing and will take maybe years since it caused great harm to his channel saying that due to the defamation hundreds of his supporters dropped off because the defamation gave them the impression that he was someone he isn't and that led supporters to think he was misleading them somehow.. you can watch if you can sit through it at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5hinrjexm4.

Rumor is that the job offer was as centerfielder for the New York Yankees. That's quite an opportunity to turn down. Millions of dollars a year and all of the groupies that you can bang!

I don't think there would be legal repercussions if he insisted the letter was fake. Aside from defamation being tricky to prove (just ask Evans!), there is also the issue of damages and whether it's worth it to pursue legal action when you stand to gain little or nothing (just ask Evans!). The issue, for him, is that claiming it is fake could blow up in his face, so he will wait and see if it goes away. If not, he might claim it's fake, knowing that it becomes another potential bomb that can go off at any time. His other options are:
1. Admit it's real and that it isn't anyone's business but his and his wife's. I think that this is true! But also irrelevant. Remember, he's not trying to convince us of anything. He's trying to convince potential (and current) supporters that he deserves their money. Gruffly dismissing them and asking that they mind their own business might mean that they decide to spend their money somewhere else.
2. Admit it's real and try to justify what he wrote. I can imagine a scenario where he tries this, because he's so certain that he's the smartest man in the room. I hope he does go this route. The entertainment value would be immeasurable. So would the self-inflicted damage.
Other than that, he can continue to pretend it doesn't exist and try to dismiss it as part of the "defamation campaign" against him. We'll have to see how that works out.

Whateveryousay: If not, it's fake and that's it.
That's... not how it works. Something can be true and not proven. It may not be confirmed or validated, but it can still be true. We can give less weight to a claim that is unproven and we can dismiss a claim that is disproven. But it's reasonable to accept a claim based on the word of someone you trust, for example.
The unproven accusations in question do not exist in a vacuum. Don't mistake the desire of some of us to be certain with a blanket rejection of specific claims. I acknowledge that some claims are unconfirmed, but it doesn't mean I reject them outright. We are talking about a man who demeans his wife, cheats on her with hookers, lies to cover his actions, all while puffing himself up and trying to put his critics down. Why would I automatically reject claims that he has done other things in this vein?
So, no... you don't need to explain basic logic to us. You might want to brush up on it, though.

The (Shunned) Woman at the Well
by Sea Breeze ini always found the account of the "woman at the well" to be particulary interesting.
this unknown shunned woman of ill-repute was specifically sought out and chosen by jesus.
why?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=el7dzonv3iy&ab_channel=michaelpapale.

There are a number of times where Jesus promoted the idea that doing the right thing was more important than being 'technically correct,' if you will. He once criticized the Pharisees because they worked hard to make sure they followed the law to the letter, but were doing a poor job of shepherding the flock. I think that his interaction with the Samaritan woman was another example of this-- looking past the letter of the law and keeping with the spirit of the law.
