Here's a prediction: when all of the new and current predictions fail, someone will come along with a new set of predictions and insist that those are reliable because they're based on an accurate interpretation of a book that people haven't been able to reach a consensus on after two-thousand years of study and discussion (and lots and lots of bloodshed). All previous predictions were flawed and those people simply did not have the requisite "new" light to understand what was really written.
And I didn't have to interpret a book to come to this conclusion. I just had to look at the past two-thousand years of human behavior. Because the more things change...
