  Yep. For one thing, he could have gone to Phuket to do all of the things he said... AND pay for sex. For another, we've seen the pictures that made his wife upset, since she sent them to a third party who then made them public. It's him getting cozy with a female(?) at a bar. And third, we've also seen the letters he wrote to Dijana. Read those, and tell me that he's only talking about touring Thailand for the boat rides and good food.

  He wants to have the last word, because the more people talk about it, the more his version of events falls apart.

  Limiting his Twitter is good, it's the kind of step you hope he would take. It reduces his visibility and shows that he is worn down from dealing with his past. Same with shutting down Ipsilon Media. By the way, not having a corporate identity means he may be liable personally in any civil action. Just saying.

  Also, keep in mind that a narcissist doesn't empathize with others. He really cannot see the world outside of himself. So it's no surprise that he would use the "innocent until proven guilty" line for himself, but not for anyone else. Especially when he admitted to visiting prostitutes regularly over several years... which is a crime in Croatia.

  DerekMoors: WTF is this? I watched the whole video and he showed nothing copyrighted but just gave his opinion.

  Making spurious copyright claims is frowned upon by YouTube. Although it is funny to see Evans do so, considering how much WTS video content he uses on his own channel.

  If he really wants to get a bump in video views, he should unhide the livestream video.

  Diogenesister: let people read those letters he wrote to his wife Dijana and make a decision on the content of his character based on those.

  That's a good point. The evidence that he's an awful person is everywhere. Hopefully, those remaining patrons will take a look.

  He never stops trying to convince people that he's not really a bad person. He's a flawed individual. He didn't drown a puppy. He didn't push an old lady to the ground. I mean, it's not as if he abandoned his wife and children to go romping around in Thailand with sex wor-- oh, right... nevermind.

  He wants you to believe that the problem is that Kim tattled on him. Not that he cheated on his wife with hookers over and over. Not that he ran out on his family to buy sex date a sex worker in Thailand. Not that he treated the exJW community with disdain for many years and burned bridges at every turn. Not that he was the one who turned this into a full-blown scandal by straight-up telling everyone what an awful person he was in his now-legendary livestream.

  so my mother passed on 20 aug 23 from the big c. i was there when she went.

  that was indeed very traumatic.

  i won't go to describe it.. dad went 17 years ago so there's just me now.

  My condolences, punkofnice.

  My mother had a close call last year, and being in her mid-80s I know she may not have long. She will definitely want a JW funeral. I won't deny her that if it's what she wants, and we can't do much about it anyway, scattered as we are. She gave her time and energy to the WTS for almost 60 years now, with little to show for it. She's been waiting for the end since the late-60s, and remains convinced that it's almost here.
