  it's not too early to place your bets for how many patrons his royal thighness will lose in october.

  Don't worry too much about the day-to-day fluctuation, keep the long-term trend in mind. It's possible (and I suspect that this is the case) that he is working feverishly to get the numbers up, doing so in the background or privately. If he has to work that hard just to slow the decline, that's fine- it's become clear that his Patreon is on a downward slide that he is unable to stop.

  His attempts to hide, minimize, or excuse his words and actions are hurting him. It's too late anymore for him to stand up and take accountability, and as time goes on more people will become aware of the things he has said and done. I think the letters to his wife are particularly damaging, and those have not received a lot of attention. So there are more opportunities for people to learn that he's a terrible human being.

  pr0ner: @LMSA he is just playing the "technical" game.

  That was how I saw it for a time, but slimboyfat is correct- Evans is stretching definitions so far as to make them worthless, in order to misuse terms as a way to slander people. The word "technical" is doing far too much heavy lifting here- Evans has filed a sham lawsuit that will go nowhere for several reasons, and he has refused to provide any details regarding the accusations. He might respond by claiming that it's not his job or it's not our business, but that's totally beside the point-- if he's using this fraudulent action to make claims about people, then we are justified in thinking that he's full of shit when he refuses to back up his claims.

  Or, in a manner that Evans might appreciate-- technically, he is slandering them.

  i came across this footage recently whilst searching for something completely unrelated and it blew me away!.

  it's from the august 1974 convention at murrayfield, edinburgh and you can clearly see the stage set up still keeping the 6000 years and 1975 mantra going.. what makes this very personal for me is that i was here.

  If I am remembering correctly, they taught (still teach??) that after Armaggedon, there would be a 1,000 year period where the dead would be resurrected and the work of cleaning up the world would go on. At the end of that period (ie, 7,000 years after the end of the last creative day) there would be a short time where Satan would be released and humanity would go through one final period of testing and culling.

  slimboyfat: Does it never occur to his 400 or so remaining patrons that the fact that practically all his collaborators and colleagues have abandoned him tells them something about his character and what really has been going on behind the scenes?

  I was thinking that exact same thing. He has a very long list of names of people who are part of the "defamation/hate campaign." How many names are on the list of people who still support him? Where are they? Why aren't they doing videos defending him, or showing up on his channel to support him?

  Maybe they're not there.

  It reminds me of a saying: if everyone thinks you're an asshole, it might be because you're an asshole.

  Yep. For one thing, he could have gone to Phuket to do all of the things he said... AND pay for sex. For another, we've seen the pictures that made his wife upset, since she sent them to a third party who then made them public. It's him getting cozy with a female(?) at a bar. And third, we've also seen the letters he wrote to Dijana. Read those, and tell me that he's only talking about touring Thailand for the boat rides and good food.

  He wants to have the last word, because the more people talk about it, the more his version of events falls apart.

  Limiting his Twitter is good, it's the kind of step you hope he would take. It reduces his visibility and shows that he is worn down from dealing with his past. Same with shutting down Ipsilon Media. By the way, not having a corporate identity means he may be liable personally in any civil action. Just saying.

  Also, keep in mind that a narcissist doesn't empathize with others. He really cannot see the world outside of himself. So it's no surprise that he would use the "innocent until proven guilty" line for himself, but not for anyone else. Especially when he admitted to visiting prostitutes regularly over several years... which is a crime in Croatia.
