  i’m a pimo ministerial servant and i won’t fade because i want to keep my front row seats watching what happens next few years.. my predictions are that this current governing body will slowly die off and the current younger helpers will be the next gb.

  they will eventually have new light that they were wrong about 1914 and the overlapping generations.. the new light will be something on the lines of the last days are now because of king of north king of south pushing each other etc etc.

  they will do their very best to burry old literature and try to change the past trying to make it sound like they were right all along just as they have done for 150 years now.

  PIMOs may be able to hang in longer if the WTS's struggles get bad enough. They could reach a point where they just want the numbers to look good while they try to keep the ship from sinking. In that case, the pressure would ease on those who are not doing enough to avoid scrutiny.

  As for me, I was barely able to keep up when I was PIMI. I can't imagine being PIMO and having to schedule so much time around the meetings and field service, or trying to convince people to study with the JWs when I do not believe in it myself. It's a bridge too far for me.

  did they released selected figures at the annual meeting as they usually do, such as the memorial attendance or record number of pioneers?

  It may take a few years to see the effect that the pandemic is having. Will the GB decide to stand pat and hope things fix themselves? Will they take any action to try to either accommodate or intimidate the rank and file, in the hopes of stabilizing the numbers or promoting growth? Past history indicates that they're not very good at judging things (ironically enough), since they are usually a group of old men who are insulated from the real world to a considerable extent.

  In the past, it has been their own arrogance and poor decisions that caused the numbers to drop, sometimes drastically. This time, it has mostly been a circumstance that has reduced the effectiveness of their primary recruiting tool. Can they get back to door-to-door preaching in sufficient numbers and dedicate enough hours to recover? Ten years, fifteen years... that's a long time (though at my age, it doesn't feel like a lot!). Lots of things can happen in that amount of time.

  By definition, the political fringe is neither normal nor accepted. Yes, it's sad or alarming to see that almost 17% of respondents might feel differently, but I'm guessing that a fair number of them are trolling him. I also would expect that, if he had asked the same of the far left, he'd get a similar breakdown. But, as others have pointed out, asking rigged questions is pretty much his MO.
